We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The staff are very nice and super helpful, from the front desk, concierge, wait staff, and housekeeping. Our room was a nice size, with a spectacular view and large bathroom. The breakfast was great, as was our afternoon tea on the terrace, and our dinner in the bar. And the location is perfect. We can't wait to come back!

He was always approachable, ready to assist with any request, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Whether it was recommendations for local spots, handling special requests, or simply his positive energy, his outstanding customer service made all the difference. The hotel itself was not bad, but it was his kindness and professionalism that truly set our experience apart. This is a nice hotel with impeccable hospitality. Excellent breakfasts in a chic hall with a great choice of dishes and service. Cleaning twice a day. Nice sweets in the evening, tea, coffee every day in the rooms. Absolute silence and comfort. A small but very nice spa with a jacuzzi and saunas. Musical evenings almost every day. Cross-country ski trails 3 minutes from the hotel. You need to go to the ski slopes by bus (the stop is next to the hotel). A wonderful village with restaurants and a delicious coffee shop. Hiking routes that start right at the hotel. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday and enjoying the beauty of nature!

Breakfast option was somewhat limited, but it had all the things that you need to start the day. Staff was super helpful and responsive. I used the luggage transfer service offered by the train station and the hotel collected my luggage from the train station. I stayed in the panoramic room and the view was just exceptional, though honestly the view from most parts of the hotel area was stunning. The room was modern, clean and the bed was comfortable. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel!

Beautiful... it fits the ad that says "top of the world". Cool, clean, not too busy ... and most importantly very friendly people (at least those we met...). One of them got out of his way how we could find our apartment.

There is a great local bakery : Bäckerei / Konditorei...

There is a great local bakery : Bäckerei / Konditorei Piccolo (Bakery / Pastry).... we visited a couple of times to get filled rolls and drinks to take with us on trips up the mountains. The lady who works there was incredible helpful and friendly even though we had a slight language barrier with me only speaking English. Our fussy teen through the rolls were very tasty. The local buildings are full of history and a walk around the town provides interesting anecdotes to times gone by, written on several buildings. The wild flower meadows in June are beautiful and we found trips up into the mountains well worth it... they are spectacular in the summer.

A pristine mountain town at the foothills of the Alps, 10 min. Train ride from St. Moritz. Hardly any people. It felt like we were in the twilight zone, very picturesque with a lovely museum and great pastry!

Silvaplana is very small and quiet village: supermarket, bakery, ski shop and a couple of restaurants. Cross country ski trails are 10 min walk across the bridge and there are regular buses to take you around to nearby villages. It was perfect place for star gazing and having quality family time :)

A classic hotel with history, which alone makes it worth spending the night there. In addition, in a fantastic location that in the past was only accessible to the happy few. The hotel seems to have aged a bit, but the comfortable rooms, grandeur and views make it worth a visit. an excellent place to start mountain tours or bike tours and explore the Engadin.

Family friendly, down to earth place. Beautiful old village with amazing large houses. Skiing great, free ski bus. Small ski bar on top of Albanas. Several shops in Zuoz. Good restaurants (Crush Alva and Dorta). Muottas Muragl is worth a visit in good weather.

A True Swiss Gem Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this place is pure alpine bliss. The sound of cowbells, the crisp mountain air, and the best raclette I’ve ever had—made from cheese crafted on-site by their own master cheesemaker. A truly unforgettable Swiss experience.

Nice to expereience this famous town. We were there on a very sunny and dry couple of days. Walked around the town, lake and visited museums. Too expensive to shop in any of the clothes shops. Sorry that I did not take cable car to the mountains but again it was very expensive.

This quaint old village, with a stupendously picturesque...

This quaint old village, with a stupendously picturesque medieval church rising on a wooded hillock above the nearby fields, is easy to miss as it is (a) by-passed by the main road and (b) the cheaper accommodation is on the outskirts.

Very pleased with Samedan as a location.

Very pleased with Samedan as a location. Far less glitzy or expensive than Pontresina or St Moritz, but a very pleasant workaday town with excellent transport connections in all directions and good facilities including places to eat.
