This stay is simply amazing. It is in between the mountains and has a beautiful view and beautiful surroundings. Simply loved it. The room are super clean and shared toilets are also kept in a very nice order. Restaurant offers good menu. Staff is very helpful and hospitable. I recommend this stay to everyone who wish to stay away from touristy area yet in a hidden gem of Switzerland.

We had a beautiful scenic room. Our room was clean and roomy. The photos were accurate to what we experienced. The location allows for walkable access to restaurants and numerous walkable trails.

Wassen is small but this hotel more than fit our needs. It is located right on the Trans Swiss hiking trail #2, and next to the grocery store, also a plus. We got the triple room to benefit from a private bathroom, so the room was spacious on top of being comfortable. The real hotel gem was its restaurant. The food was delicious, and the owners take great care not only in preparing the food, but also caring for their guests There were also nicely furnished common rooms for those who might be traveling in a group. Breakfast has everything we needed and set us off on the right foot for the day's hike.

The house is spacious, has all the amenities needed and it located at a picturesque valley. Host was very welcoming, handed over the keys and provided all the info we needed.

Location was perfect as it is near the inside alpes and near Grimselpass viewpoint. Very cozy and comfortable rooms. Parking was free. Facilities within the place were very good. Host was very kind and friendly.

Everything was as specified. Very kind staff and beautiful location. Smooth personal checkin even when it was near 9pm. Wi-fi was not strong in the whole house, there should be amplifiers - we wanted to plan another trip after long day without internet and we wanted to do so in our room, not shared areas, so that's the only minor minus... Rooms closer to the modem probably don't have this issue of course. :) Room and especially the bathroom were sparkling clean. It was even beyond our expectations in this type of accommodation with shared bathrooms. Would stay there again for sure.
