Many other accommodations in Switzerland in the similar price range are just B&B or guest house style, but this one is a 4 star hotel with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The hotel provides many items in the room: mini fridge, safety box, bathrobe and slippers for the swimming pool and the jacuzzi. The room is spacious for one person and the mattress is super comfortable. The terrace of the restaurant of the hotel faces the lake with beautiful landscape. Fantastic views, ideal to treat yourself and enjoy something special in Luzern. The staff is helpful and friendly. The Gütsch forest is a short walk away ( I highly recommend this), but the funicular takes you back to the city quickly. The rooms have everything you need. We were travelling with a baby (9 months) and they provided a cot, which was great, although the bed is big enough for three as well. The breakfast is very complete with good options for all. Stoos is a very charismatic small village in the Swiss alps. You get their only with the steepest funicular of the world, no cars in the village. During the summer season this village only attracts people for the famous (and very overcrowded by Instagrammers and Tiktokkers) Stoos ridge hike. It is amazing and has great views but you walk in line the whole way unless you are willing to really take the 1st chairlift up there. I am sure there are as nice hikes but less crowded ridge hikes in Switzerland. It was a reminder for us to never take travel tips from social media.Guest review byMichelNetherlands - 10.0
This city is a short distance from Lucerne.
This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.Guest review byRamon - 10.0

The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans.
It's a nice village close to Luzern and Stans. You can easily get the train to Luzern or Engelberg and visit the Stanserhorn bahn or the Titlis bahn. Where you can ski, take in the beautiful views or do some walking.
