the room is spacious, the interior is modern and the location is close to airport. There were a lot of people trying to check in and out during the time when i arrived at the hotel but the staffs are very professional and attentive, getting things done and supporting each other with great team work and cleared all the guests' needs fast. It was quite cold in the winter time with no centralized heater but the hotel provides individual heater in the room which you can adjust to your need, that is brilliant.

After travelling over 50 countries and staying at many 5 star hotels, I can safely say this was the best most helpful and nicest staff I've ever met. Ever! I got to the hotel, I didn't have the right cash and they paid for it! Then walked me to halal chinese restaurant and paid for it. Offered to fix my broken luggage, change my currency, print my flight details, call me a taxi, order food/meds to the room when my daughter was sick and finally helped coordinate. My great wall tour, making tons of calls. I have never experienced anything better. Oh they also have a great breakfast, made it halal friendly for us, didn't charge extra when my daughter wanted more hashbrowns, they also packed us some snacks to go for our flight The room is very clean, and you have great shower pressure. The staff are exceptionally nice, attentive and very well spoken. You are greeted with a cup of coffee or tea, an introduction into the area and they accompany you to your room. While the rooms might be a bit small, you feel their care, even in the decorated hallways. The area is great as well, two metro station close by and big new mall. You can walk around the hutongs and enjoy the scenery as well. I will definitely stay here again!

There are places in this city which are guaranteed to blow your mind, such as the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, and the Lama Temple. Traffic in Beijing is terrible but luckily the subway is superb. And did I mention the food? So tasty and healthy!

Great communication and very helpful, it took me a long time to get through immigration at the airport, I did a lot of research but it was still not easy, the signage is poor and there are two different types of entry visas', signage at the airport does not make it clear which is which, Sophie waited a long time for me at the airport as I have booked the transfer from the airport to the hotel, she was very patient and super friendly, talked to me about living in China etc, very helpful, also made sure I had money for the shops by overcharging for the room to give me Yuan in exchange. Organised my trip back to the airport in the morning, no issues at all. No TV's in the room but not sure what use they would be anyway for an English speaker with no Chinese language skills :) just make sure you can entertain yourself. Shops immediately out the front of the hotel if you want to get a couple of beers or buy some food, literally across the very minor road. Fantastic as a layover between flights.

It's best for the great wall.

It's best for the great wall. I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity. To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes. Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.

Beijing is beautiful and with lots of scenic places. Getting around is easy, especially with DIDI, easy booking, exceptional good price and comfortable. Food is delicious, especially the peking duck restaurants. Only shortfall is the toilet, room for more improvement.

I had a really lovely time here. It was easy to get around and a nice place to return to after a day out. The Spa was great. The only thing I would suggest is a shop with products i.e. toiletries, local crafts & gifts, clothes etc,.
