Amazing staff who gave us great recommendations on the attractions to visit. We had a very smooth stay and tours thanks to them. Very attentive and responsive ! The room was beautiful, very well furnished and very clean! Breakfast was good with mainly Chinese options.

Excellent location with a short walk to Zhangjiajie National Park. The nearby village is charming to watch sunrise and sunset. Clean and tranquil environment. Guesthouse beds come with mattresses equipped with heaters for the cold weather. Anthony, the host, not only speaks immaculate English but is also very knowledgeable about the place. He's incredibly nice and helpful in purchasing our national park tickets, planned our itineraries, arranged all our transportation, cooked breakfast and dinner for us, and ensuring everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Guesthouse and highly recommend it for your visit. That was our first trip to China, and our family had a wonderful and memorable time in Zhangjiajie.

Starting with the point of contact in WeChat - the lady was very helpful, as she knew English and also arranged transport from Zhangjiajie West to the hotel 10 hours before our arrival. After arriving at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the room - clean sheets, comfy mattresses. They clean your room everyday. The hotel is also 5 min away on foot from the eastern entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. Mountain View Guesthouse is also located on the main street, surrounded by multiple restaurants, where tourists can eat delicious local food.

We had a very pleasant stay here at this hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, even with the tatami beds we felt that it was cozy and the bed was spacious for 2 person to roll around. The rooms are clean and had all necessities, they even provided welcome snacks and drink for us when we arrived, and gave us a bag of extra snacks when we left! There’s a laundry washing machine for free available on the top floor. The staff were very nice and friendly, they ensured that we have everything we need and made us feel very welcome. I saw her patiently using a translator app to help non-Chinese speaking foreigners too. The location is just nice 10mins walk from the bus station, and about 15-20mins walk to the entrance of the park. We would had loved to stay longer if we can! Super recommended++

The property was at an excellent location for exploring Changsha’s main sights and pedestrian street. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The restaurant offers a great selection for the buffet breakfast and a superb view of Changsha by day and night. We were greeted by English-speaking staff which put us at ease immediately. Jack kindly provided us with all the necessary information to make the most of our stay in Changsha. It was a half way stop on our trip around China so the laundry facilities were very much appreciated and the ease of use made it all simple. A great place to stay on your next visit to Changsha.
