This hotel is well maintained, has a great location (the street is beautiful, and also fairly close to the city center, and a metro station), and spacious rooms (it is not easy to find a big enough room for a family of 5). Food is also good, both for breakfast and in the restaurant for lunch or dinner (a lot of locals eat there, and the restaurant deservingly has a high rating on Dianping and Baidu Ditu). However, the main plus for us who still didn’t master Chinese language is the fact that stuff here speaks very good English. And I must emphasize the importance of that for all of you who are visiting this beautiful civilization state for the first time, and you do not know the language. The stuff is very accommodating and knowledgeable, and they can help you do anything: from organizing your visits to tourist attractions and getting local SIM card, to giving useful advises and suggestions, or ordering something for you from the Internet.

Friendly staff that spoke some english. Clean room, well-equipped. Convenient central location, clean swimming pool area with a sauna in the dressing rooms. Well-equipped gym and yoga room. Spacious room. "Robot delivery" to bring the food that one had ordered. The breakfast had overall good quality and variety, only could have more vegetarian warm food options.     I mostly travel alone and I like a city that I can negotiate...

    I mostly travel alone and I like a city that I can negotiate using the metro in preference to buses, or else I make a plan and walk. Chengdu is very flat so no problem walking ... I managed to see everything on my plan. The Metro is very easy to use and also provides links to major fast train stations. I visited the Panda enclosure on my own - very easy as the Metro stops nearby and a shuttle bus takes you the rest of the way. I found no problem walking around on my own as there are plenty of signs.

    2 Days for visiting Jiuzhaigou National Park is strongly recommend since you don't have to rush and can take time to immerse yourself in the beautiful nature. There are many beautiful scenic spot in the National Park, if possible, pls. book VIP bus in the park because you can stop at any place that you like.

    I’ve had a long stopover and needed a place to rest and sleep. Airport pickup was excellent, its short drive, checking was swift and I was in crispy clean sheets after a 10 hours of flight from Sydney. I had a great rest and shower, they drove me to airport for my next flight to Istanbul. I’ve arrived fresh and rested. Thanks to hotel staff🧿 it was excellent. I will be staying there again on my way back home to Australia again. I highly recommend.

    You better be fit!

    You better be fit! We walked 127 flights of steps and 17,000 steps and yet we only touched the bare surface of this magnificent mountain range with its stunning flora & fauna, wild & aggressive monkeys and breathtaking temples.

    A very relaxed and clean city, with very helpful people, though most of them struggled to communicate in English. It was very easy to get around the city, thanks to an excellent and highly efficient Metro subway system. Payment for services is difficult if you only have overseas credit cards, so travellers are well advised to download a Chinese app like Alipay. Make sure you visit the Panda Park!

    I guess climbing Emeishan is all about how lucky you are that day with the weather. We had no luck as it was cloudy and raining so we had no view at all from the mountain. Avoid it during Chinese holidays as there is too many people (we had no choice). Check the weather before you decide to climb so you dont waste your time up there

    Chengdu is a huge city with so mutch to offer. I feel like it's still a city under construction and will look different in a year. We discovered charming neighborhoods with a pleasant bustle. As a European, you certainly attracted a lot of attention. But people are always willing to help you even if you don't speak Chinese. Installing a translation app is a good tip we'd like to share. Be sure to install Alipay or Wechat for payments. Bank cards are rarely accepted. Cash is also rarely in circulation. We discoverd many green spaces, the best Sichuan cuisine, Panda bears, a lot of taxis and there's certainly a great sense of security
