We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 5 elementos corferias. Front Office Staff Camilo and Alejandro were really friendly. Especially Camilo gave us nice suggestions. Breakfast was very authentic and staff David was nice and prepared us delicious eggs with vegetables. Housekeeping ladies were polite and helpful. Overall room was clean and had a nice interior design. The only thing that really bothered us was the early renovation and construction noise. It started like 6 or 630am. Muchas gracias! The staff was exceptionally nice. The breakfast staff even remembered how we like our coffee by the second day. The breakfast buffet and fruit choice was amazing, very varied with something for everyone. The beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows, and I'm picky in that regard. The shower pressure was great with nice, hot water. The room had all facilities and kits you would need. We required a different room, and the reception staff was also very accommodating. Laundry service was also great! I know Bogotá, so for me the location is perfect for what I needed. It's not central per se, but it's a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a great mall on front and lots of nice little vendors and shops around.

    We were a group of four and booked a local tour company for...

    We were a group of four and booked a local tour company for private tours over five separate days. I highly recommend it, because we would otherwise not have known which neighbourhoods to explore, and we would have missed out on learning about Bogota’s interesting history. We stayed in the Parque 93 area and ate at several local Colombian restaurants there, also enjoying great Italian, Japanese, and Mexican food nearby. Getting around Bogota is easy and safe with Uber, but plan extra time for traffic, because there is always traffic! The people were so friendly.

    Bogota, like other places in Colombia, is steeped in cautious optimism for the future. Everywhere we saw people, representing Colombia's mix of cultures, interacting with us and each other with friendliness and creative energy. We recommend the Graffiti tour, Monserrate, and museums - Oro, Nacional & Botero. Walking around Candelaria and nearby neighborhoods is magical. Bogota is also the jumping off place for the Amazon, the Caribbean coast and Medellin - all of which we enjoyed.

    I love Bogota, the weather and the people are wonderful. it is like a combination of the good of a developed and the good of a developing country all in one. Of course there is some things that need improving, but it is a very nice combination of features.
