- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 86 reviewsThe perfect place to stay in Cahuita. Anett already provided lots of valuable support during the planning stage of our trip and made organizing easy for us. It was a pleasure to stay in her well-equipped garden apartment, where she was highly attentive to her guests' needs and always ready to help. A big thank you to Anett and her husband for their hospitality and for making our stay in Cahuita so enjoyable (including listening to distant howler monkey sounds in the early morning)! We would return any time. Highly recommended.Guest review byEddaGermany
- From US$56.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 237 reviewsI wish I could extend my stay in Cahujita and enjoy this little paradise. I had my blur house in the middle of the jungle, where you can connect with the nature and wildlife but at the same time being so close to the Playa Negra (7-8 min) and to the main street (5 min) where you can find all the restaurants, bars and shops. The room was very spacious, clean, with the nice terrace and hammock and kind and very helpful staff. I highly recommend this beautiful place and hope to come back again! Thank you!Guest review byVasiljkovicSerbia
- From US$96.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 372 reviewsExcellent location in Cahuita - beach right in front, restaurants nearby, cca 15 mins to the main road and centre, so still quiet but in reachable destination to all that you need in such a location. absolutely amazing garden - a national park itself :-) an enthusiastic owner that shows you all the animals and tells everything in a friendly tone. all the service from the owners was excellent, including recommended contacts for guides, rentals and transfer to San Jose - many thanks!Guest review byLucieCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 262 reviewsThe cabins were great, very clean and the pool was a nice touch. They cleaned it every day and changed the sheets every second day. When we were leaving, we asked for taxi to get to the bus station and we were pleasantly surprised that it was covered by the property :) Lived the jungle feeling - saw few animals There is a shared kitchen you can cook in - had everything you needGuest review byTabitaLatvia

- From US$149.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 139 reviewsWe loved Cahuita Inn, it was probably the cleanest and the most comfortable place we had in Costa Rica. The owners were really kind and accommodating, from bringing us food for the kids when we arrived really late to borrowing the thermometer when one of the kids got sick. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. We would definitely return on our next trips.Guest review byEmiliaNetherlands

Costa Rica, for those who prefer nature as a concept not to be endured too long, and with minimal discomfort. I can't speak to other parts of the country but the Caribbean coast is not a place for real travelers. Go to Honduras or Guatemala instead.Guest review bySeanCanada - 6.0
The area in Cahuita we stayed at was ok, I wouldn't go back.
The area in Cahuita we stayed at was ok, I wouldn't go back. But we visited Puerto Viejo, that town is definitely great. Lots going on there, beautiful beaches, lots of restaurants, etc. A happy place. But not Cahuita.Guest review byBeckyUnited States - 10.0
Cahuita is a hidden gem.
Cahuita is a hidden gem. It’s a small, quiet peaceful place to stay that is near to Puerto Viejo, but without the noise. The beaches and wildlife were wonderful, and we loved visiting Cahuita National Park. There is a bus stop in Cahuita which goes to Puerta Viejo. We loved eating at many of the local restaurants. They were all good.Guest review byAnonymous
