Wow wow wow , loved every minute here , we didn’t want to leave ,would happily stayed here for a month. We went horseback riding, zip lining, swimming in all of the pools , had Jorge over for an English cuppa and biscuits, then dinner. What a wonderful man running a fantastic place .

We started with a room that was to close to the restaurant. Then you hear the kitchen extractor and the smell on the balcony. The room was further oké. But we asked if we good have another room, which was fixed directly. This room was even bigger and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The restaurant has fair pricing and the food is really good. The breakfast was delicious and the staff super nice.
Just book you will have a great time here.

The hosts are exceptionally kind and welcoming, they were so happy to give advice on what the best places in Rincon de La vieja are. The breakfast they serve (for a little extra but so worth it) is a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I will be coming back.

Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!

Great food, amazing views and hiking trails in the jungle. Definitely the best chocolate in Costa Rica! Pablo and Anna are knowledgeable and wonderful hosts. The views and the chocolate tour experiences are the best parts about a stay at La Anita.

This place was beautiful and the rooms were clean — seeing the jungle from your bed was an amazing experience and the staff were very friendly.
It’s a great place to disconnect for a bit if you like nature. The road there could use some work.
