- From US$76.34 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 305 reviewsAfter clear instructions re: where to park our car and how to reach the property, we easily found it. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen Yiannis' messages while I was driving, and he was patiently waiting for us at the reception. We immediately felt very welcome, and he even gave us a bottle of wine as a gesture of hospitality. Then, he showed us our apartment, which was just great: a spacey bedroom, a kitchen, sofa, and spacious bathroom - and a wide balcony on the street side where we sat both in the afternoon and evening. Shutters make the room completely dark, and in this quiet neighbourhood, silence is all but guaranteed so we had a very good sleep. Close by, there is a bar and a restaurant, and a short walk downhill brings you to a bunch of restaurants near the river. All in all, a very commendable option for your stay in Kakopetria.Guest review byBorisNetherlands
- From US$82.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 354 reviewsThe location looks like paradise - you won’t easily find anything like that anywhere! The view from the balcony is worth everything! The sound of the sea while sleeping - priceless. The beach with direct access from the hotel was the best we have seen in Cyprus: sandy, with easy access to the sea, perfect for the child! The food at the restaurant was amazing! Fresh, home made, really tasty! The family hosting the hotel was really hospitable, friendly and extremaly helpful. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. The room was comfortable with exceptionally comfortable beds! The room was cleaned every day, which in my opinion was not necessary, but a nice extra :) thank you for that!Guest review byMałgorzataPoland
- From US$87.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 581 reviewsThe hotel is very simple but clean, comfortable and very well located. Great free parking, good wifi (but not in all rooms, in room #3 the signal was pretty weak but after mooving to #4 all was perfect). I need to admit the exrtemely good breakfast. It was really super home-made breakfast with lots of cheese, yogurt and several home-made cakes. I am really surprised for such a price. Also we arrived pretty late (almost at 22) and in low season I was sure we cannot find anybody at the desk. But the lady (I believe she is one of the owners) was really nice to wait for usGuest review byEvgenyRussia

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. Its picturesque setting, with stone houses, cobblestone streets, and lush landscapes, creates an idyllic atmosphere for visitors. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. Overall, Kakopetria is an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, blending absolute tranquility with opportunities for outdoor activities and cultural exploration.Guest review byDimitris31Cyprus - 10.0

Pedoulas was a wonderful base from which to explore this area of the Troodos Mountains. It was our first time in the mountains of Cyprus and we wanted to see sites such as Kykkos Monastery, Archangel Michaels church etc. and to do nature trails in the mountains. We achieved these objectives very comfortably from our location and could also move on to the west coast with a scenic (but very winding!) drive back down to sea level:)Guest review byRichardAustralia - 10.0
Wow! The best villa we have ever stayed !
Wow! The best villa we have ever stayed ! Its brand-new , matresses, sheets and towels are luxurious. Fantastic sea view from all the bedrooms. Hosts Panayiotis and Anthia are exceptionally friendly and generous. The beach in front just 70 metres from the villa is sandy, shallow and clean. The swimming pool is very large with water that flows like a fountain. We enjoyed sea-view jacuzzi !! We will stay again. Highly recommended !Guest review byVasilisGreece - 10.0

Beautiful and well preserved mountain village, people are really friendly and they show love for their place. It is obvious they take good care of it. We had dinner and lunch at two different places and they were both really good. There is also a nice coffee shop with views of the mountains.Guest review byMariaCyprus - 10.0
We stayed in early November and it was hot and sunny.
We stayed in early November and it was hot and sunny. The beach was immediately next to the apartment and for most of the time we had it all to ourselves. Pachyammos is quiet and peaceful which suited us perfectly, we had a car so it was easy to travel the few miles to the local supermarket which served all our needs, there is also a bus service. The apartment was great, lots of space and lovely views. The hosts were helpful yet discrete and had lots of local knowledge to share.Guest review byJames lockheadUnited Kingdom - 6.0
It is elevated, close to arterial toads but quiet.
It is elevated, close to arterial toads but quiet. The homes in the area are nice. Walking up and down streets is unsafe because of uneven surfaces, no footpaths, pot holes and so on. If you have a car, the shops, eateries and do on are not too far away.Guest review byRadeAustralia - 10.0

My husband and I stayed at Vasiliki's House in the Troodos Mountains as we were looking for a quieter, more refreshing getaway. We spent three nights there and really appreciated the cooler temperatures compared to the lower parts of Cyprus. There was plenty to do in the area, and since we had a rental car, we were able to explore a lot. Most days we were out and about, enjoying the unique climate and charm of the Troodos region. The only downside was the bird droppings just outside the room door, which weren’t pleasant. However, we completely understand how difficult it is to stay on top of something like that in a natural setting.Guest review byMartaIreland
