In a word: Wow! What a wonderful experience. The hospitality, the spacious rooms and shower. And the food, oh my god... One of the best dinners we've ever had. The truffle sauce of the fillet steak was heavenly, and the halibut was cooked to prefection. The generous breakfast was also delicious. We cannot wait to return to Kamino in our next visit to the Black Forest!

Very friendly and attentive hosts. Everything was handled flexibly – we could even choose our own breakfast time, and we always felt well looked after. Good, reliable Wi-Fi, free parking right at the hotel, and even an elevator – not something you often find in smaller Black Forest hotels. Breakfast was very good, and the dinner was also tasty.

We stayed there for a weak in the off season and had a wonderful time. I honestly do not know what could be improved. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the location is really nice and the SPA area great, I could imagine though that the latter could get a bit crowded, if the hotel is really fully booked.

Great hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights in a Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony for about 1275 euros and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is very central, and the building is beautiful and charming. It’s one of the main buildings in Titisee and it’s very well kept, and the gardens are also beautiful. We pleased to note that parking was easy. They give clear instructions on how to find the parking lot and there are plenty of parking spots, and wide enough. You can also come and go as you want (we left our car parked the whole time, though). The staff is super friendly and between our beginner-level German and some members of the staff who spoke English, there were zero communication problems. Our room was wonderful. Lots of space, nice big wardrobe with many real hangers and clean and spacious bathroom. The view was wonderful and definitely worth it, and the balcony was also nice. The pillows that were there when we arrived were very thin and soft, but after we requested firmer ones, we had 4 wonderful pillows in total. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well. We also had dinner one night at the hotel, and although the prices are a bit steep, the quality is there and the staff, once again, was top notch. We also loved, loved, loved all the flowers at the hotel, especially all the lovely anthuriums at the restaurant and some common areas. The direct access to the lake was what we were mainly looking for and we were not disappointed. Also, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are wonderful (and the water is not cold! the lake water can be freezing). You can also have a light meal and freshly squeezed fruit juices by the pool, which we really enjoyed. Overall, we had a great time and we are definitely coming back. Highly recommended!

Hotel is the most enjoyable and pristine property we stayed at. They even have their own private park with deers and you can feed the graceful animals. The attention to detail and aesthetics of the hotel, spa, park, restaurant and all the facilities, rooms - is superb. For the child - there was a little bathroom robe and cute set of toiletrees in the room. Each room is unique and a candy for the eye. Tranquility, harmony and joy - is the vibe here. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and high tea time at a Michelin star restaurant. Honestly, it's a dream come true! And the stuff - people are exceptionally well trained, professional, kind and attentive. We have memories for life and will definitely come back again and again!

Hosts both speak 5 languages and can communicate with all guest fluently. Full breakfast spread with meats, cheeses, home made jams and all kinds of breads. Breakfast room stays open 24/7, so a free snack and a drink can be found after coming in from a long hike in mid afternoon. The place was fully booked, but never felt crowded, not even at 8 am for breakfast. Wifi is excellent. Beds are made daily and are super comfy. Hot showers throughout the day. BnB is located 1/3 mile from the popular restaurants and shops by the lake, yet gives peace and quiet any time of day. Restaurants downtown offer traditional Schwartzwald cuisine, but also pizza and Indian food can be found.

The location is outstanding, with all the comfort one can expect. The dinners were fabulous, very different from the "average" schnitzel one can get in Germany. Titisee-Neustadt is a charming town with a lot to offer.

Titisee-Neustadt is a charming town with a lot to offer. The lake is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the town center is full of character, with lovely little shops, cozy restaurants, and plenty of ice cream stands. It’s a great place for a peaceful getaway and to enjoy the Black Forest atmosphere. However, one unpleasant experience during our visit was dinner at Musse am See – Bio Asia Dining. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 children, and we ordered at 8:20 PM. The service was extremely slow and disorganized: The first dish (for one child) arrived at 8:50 PM. Two more dishes (for adults) came at 9:05 PM. The remaining four meals (for one adult and three children) didn’t arrive until 9:20 PM. A simple Sprite took over 15 minutes, and only arrived after my friend went to the counter to ask about it. The staff seemed unaware until she pointed it out. To make matters worse, the waiter spilled the Sprite onto one of the children’s meals, which completely ruined it—and the child didn’t eat after that. I love Asian food, but this was by far the most disappointing experience I’ve had at an Asian restaurant. It was a real letdown in an otherwise lovely town.

It will suit anyone looking to spend lots of time outdoors. We had poor weather and the local indoor attractions were extremely expensive. Prices vary according to when you wish to visit, and the water park wanted over €300 for a family of three adults and two children (9 & 14). That's a lot of money just to get wet! On top of this they wanted a further €10 to park the car! The walks and activities around Lake Titisee were excellent. We enjoyed taking an electric motor boat out on the lake, and the prices were reasonable. Local restaurants were good and accessible on foot, but because I was struggling with a knee problem, we went by car. Good local parking was available and after 18:00 it was free.

Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

Beautiful quiet village in the middle of nowhere but not far from titsee… out of the major hustle bustle if one wants to spend a quiet time in a spectacularly beautiful place. Plus people are so nice!!

Good as the base for outdoor activities like hiking and biking. Our kind of vacation wasn't based on what the town has to offer, but on the surrounding nature, so I can't say much about the tourist's attractions in the town. Sometimes there's a problem to find a place to eat. You have to reserve a place in the restaurant in order to get there. The fact that most of the restaurants have the same days off is not helping too. Generally speaking, nice place. Not cheap though.

Nice village in the middle of the black forest. The Dome is superb; explanations are only in German, though. It is an active religious building, hence check for mass hours. The rest of the village is a 20 minutes walk around. Small (2-4 hours) hikes around the village. Plenty more nearby.

I walked through Todtmoos and it was all faded glory. I had a pizza in one of the last restaurants left and the service was like in the hotel: long waiting, very impolite and grumpy. Todtmoos is a village you should forget.

Hotel is good 3-star and it is slowly getting into age.

Hotel is good 3-star and it is slowly getting into age. Pool is the main selling point, including the view from it. In the morning pool was mostly empty, in the evening there were more people and children jumping and making noise. Breakfast was good with decent buffet. Our french bed was not very comfortable and a bit narrow for two people (140cm or so I guess). Hotel is located on the main mountain road with quite a bit of traffic and we read in the previous reviews that people complained about noise. Hotel responded that it is possible to book more quite rooms so we asked for this kind of room. From the photos, I was convinced that all rooms have view, however this is not the case. Our room looked to the second hotel building and the room patio was basically on the edge of a parking lot, so our view was to the parked cars. We asked for a room change, but they told us they were fully booked. Dinner in the restaurant we didn´t try as it was a bit on the higher price range. Greek restaurant in front of the big church in St. Blasien (village 2km away) was very good and 30-40% cheaper. Anyway, location is convenient to explore high Black Forest, 20-30min drive from Feldberg, lakes (Titisee, Schluchsee), waterfalls etc..

We stayed in Titisee many years ago when it was a lovely quite place by the lake, now its like Disneyland with hoards of people and tatt. The cafes are all average with gloomy staff. Absolutely awfull, couldnt wait to leave. The highlight was the pension we stayed in. It is ruined, we wont be returning.
