Everything!!! Very vegan friendly, the restaurant offers lots of vegan options, staff is way friendly, nice and kind (they asked all the time if everything's ok), the wellness center had free of charge tea, water and nuts. The swimming pool was relaxing, the water temperature perfect, the beds from the wellness area very comfy. The terrace was also very cool with a great view and we could helped ourselves with drinks. The bedroom was well equipped. I only missed different types of pillows (for my hubby was too soft). I also would like to recommend for the future an installation of an infrared cabin. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Thanks again for everything!!!

A special, family-run hotel. Great atmosphere and exceptional staff. We stayed with dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful, thoughtful and varied. The location! 🤩 The hotel is located up the hill in Hopfen am See, a stunning place in the Allgäu region with breathtaking views all around, most of all of Schloss Neuschwanstein which can be seen from a distance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, the apartment was spacious and the food was exceptional (organic and locally grown) - fantastic breakfast buffet and a delicious choice of freshly cooked dishes every evening. The pool area is spacious and welcoming and there are free aquagym courses on offer.

Clean comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with excellent spa facilities. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

We loved our stay at Das Konig Ludwig. The staff were very polite and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. They had a good variety of cheese, fruit, yogurt, breads, fresh squeezed juice, a spectacular variety of teas, and many healthy options. The hotel was very clean, the beds comfortable and the shower had very good water pressure. No wifi issues throughout the property. The spa and pool areas were well kept and the towels were plentiful. We cannot wait to go back.

The service/staff was amazing. Super natural.. they make you feel at home but still excellent service. A place that we are definitely are going to visit again! Because of a special occasion I asked for a special table; they made up a table with candles, roses, decoration.. so nice. good size room and very pleasant staff. When I arrived it was raining and I was soaked, I was walking the king Ludwig Way. The Mountain View I was supposed to get from my room was poor, rain clouds everywhere. Next morning however, the clouds had gone and the view was to die for. definitely a hotel I would stay at again.

I stayed in Füssen manly to go look at Neuschwanstein and the Wieskirche, but discovered the old city is gorgeous and it also has wonderful trails to hike in the surrounding areas! I would definitely come back!

The town is lovely for a walk and for viewing the painted buildings. You can also get some good beer. Prices are higher due to the proximity of the castle. The town is an ideal place to stay for visiting the castle or for hiking. The roads are well maintained, as are the cycling and hiking trails. Our visit was at the end of September, with slightly worse weather, so we did not experience any crowds.

I did not enter any of the castles or museums. I had done that 50 years ago, as a student in Munich. I liked just walking around, soaking up the tourist vibe, predominantly Chinese. I even liked the rainy-sunny mix of weather, so characteristic of the Allgaue region.

What I especially liked, Ehrwald has everything close by: restaurants, cable cars, and beautiful hiking trails. It’s the perfect starting point for tours and enjoying the local cuisine. I ate at Hoisler’s Wirtshaus, on the Ehrwalder Alm, and at Papas Café Bar – all of them were tasty and had a cozy atmosphere. Getting around Ehrwald is super easy. You can take the bus, explore on foot, or drive – everything is well connected. There are lots reat activities for solo travelers: A trip to the highline179 in Reutte, Tyrol was a real highlight – the suspension bridge offers breathtaking views and is easy to reach. While you're there, you can also take in the impressive Ehrenberg castle complex. Hiking from the Seebensee to the Drachensee or visiting the Eibsee are also highly recommended – stunning scenery and well worth the effort.

We loved the tiny town with everything so close by. It was so clean and the people really lovely. It was fantastic catching up with family after 28 years!! We had the best breakfast at Hotel Lowen and a really great pizza and pasta night at I’ll Castro . Very good value and excellent traditional food. We used Nesselwang as a base and daily went on trips. We visited Salzburg, Innsbruck , Lake Konigsee, Lake Konstanz, Heididorf in Switzerland and so much more.

This is a great area if you like a quiet village, nature, walking, hiking, biking, swimming in nearby lakes. My hotel, Alpenblick, was a perfect location for all of this. Having a car helps, but there are buses to most places in the area and train connections from nearby towns. One big hub is Steingaden from where you can get to most places. This area is a good place to slow down, relax, recuperate if you are living in a fast paced city and all that it entails. People are friendly and helpful if the hotel staff are anything to go by.

The beautiful hotel Schwarzenbach is highly recommended, we will come back soon! Very friendly staff/service, clean, lovely breakfast, very good cook, beautiful view to the lake and the rolling hills...... We had a tour inside the Castle of Neuschwanstein, went to Reutte/Austria and to Oberammergau near Zugspitze. The dark beer King Ludwig is my favorite!
