Very friendly staff and a beautiful hotel There are plenty of shops and restaurants just stepping out the front door. Breakfast was excellent, and everything was clean and very well maintained. Pulsating with History and Tradition

Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.

Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.

Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.

Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.

Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

This time we came back for a vacation, what a beautiful experience. The beaches, the people, the cleanliness of the city, the food, everything. This has been the ideal vacation for our wedding anniversary. The hotel was very clean, obviously you can notice some wear on some of the furniture, but everything is immaculately clean, which is what matters to us. The hotel staff were super friendly and always willing to help to make us comfortable. The views from the rooms are wonderful. Cadiz, we will come back soon.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic, as well was the staff working there. We want to give special thanks to Palermo, Susana, Germán, Lenaz and Isa Vazquez . They were very gentle and sympathetic, always with a big smile. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing. Comfortable, clean budget hotel in a great location in the old city & very close to key attractions. Friendly staff - especially the guy who looked after my luggage. I had a single room which was bijou, but clean. Not the best view, but on the plus side it was quiet and I slept well. Loved staying in a local hotel rather than a 'chain' & a pleasant place to stay as a single traveller.

Our family absolutely fell in love with Granada! It’s one of those places that has a little bit of everything — history, beauty, great food, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Of course, the highlight of our trip was visiting the Alhambra. Even the kids were amazed — the palace feels like something out of a storybook, with its intricate carvings, peaceful courtyards, and stunning views over the city. We took our time wandering through the gardens of the Generalife, and it was just breathtaking. Tip for families: go early in the morning to avoid the crowds! Granada itself is so much fun to explore on foot. We loved strolling through the Albaicín, getting lost in the narrow cobblestone streets, and stopping for tapas in little local bars. The people were friendly everywhere we went, and the food was delicious — we all agreed that churros with chocolate became our new favorite breakfast at Viacolon. What really stood out was how family-friendly the city felt. There’s so much to see and do, but it never felt stressful. Whether it was exploring the old neighborhoods, relaxing in a plaza with ice cream, or watching the sunset over the Alhambra from Mirador de San Nicolás, every moment felt special. And if it happens to be during Halloween, it's even better. We left Granada with full hearts and so many great memories. A old world town with incredible history.

A old world town with incredible history. Mesquita Cathedral probably the highlight but do yourself a favour and attend the Equestrian show, the Hamman not far from Atrium Apartments. The complete tour of the town and visit the Bell Tower. Palaces of the Christian kings are closed for renovations but a walk in the gardens is amazing. A lovely experience in a bustling town. Old town, and the beautiful churches are Amazing. Plenty to see, wonderful restaurants and lots of sunshine!! Also loved the bus services for visiting other Places!! All in all, a very good destination.

Càdiz oozes history and charm and is a very unique city that is well worth the visit. I highly recommend walking and taking in all the beauty it has to offer. As I was travelling alone, I didn’t really dine out much, as the apartment I was staying in had a kitchen, and preferred to buy what I needed from various shops around the city. If you go on VoiceMap, you can contact Clive Muir via email, and he will send you a code so you can access his guided walking tour for free and explore the sights and history at your leisure. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there long enough to explore all the museums etc but be sure I will go back again and do exactly that!

Off-season trip to Ronda is recommended, as it is teeming...

Off-season trip to Ronda is recommended, as it is teeming with tourists. If you're interested in Flamenco then you must buy tickets for the Flamenco show at Ronda Flamenco, Plaza del Socorro, 12. It was an unforgettable experience which can be highly recommended. For eating Tapa's visit one of the bars in the side streets where the locals hang out. Much cheaper and more authentic.

Benalmádena is quite the busy place - if you're into shopping, restaurants and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a city centre, it's the place to be. It is close to the beach and lots of options of hotels and accommodation so you'll never lose out.

A fab town with something for everyone, we were on holiday with my 83 year old father in law and the accommodation was perfect in los boliches. Amazing restaurants and bars x All the restaurants are great, sandpipers, Dominique’s, primavera…and others.
