Seville was a lovely city to visit, but I was on my own and found it a bit unfriendly. I spent 4 full days there and only had 1 conversation with someone. This isn't a place to relax or to just sit and enjoy a book over a glass of wine or beer. It was very busy, even in the off season, and I couldn't find any nice, quiet places to just sit and relax to read a book., however, there are many pretty buildings to see, and great places to eat. There are a lot of things that could be nice but are run down, like the city 'parks', and the promenade along the canal. Grass isn't cut, bushes aren't trimmed, etc. Most of the canal promenade was under construction and would be such a nice place to relax and watch boats go by or listen to birds, but there isn't much of an opportunity for that. End of November was very cold at night, I came slightly ill-prepared for how early and how much it cooled down and it's difficult to find cozy places to sit inside for food and drinks. I wouldn't recommend travelling here in the winter or on your own for these reasons. Three nights would be a sufficient amount of time to see everything unless you wanted to do day trips.

We ate in the restaurant and it was a lovely steak meal with wine. Well cooked and presented and at a reasonable price. The room was excellent, large, clean. One word of caution the hotel is split into 3 sections but uses the same numbers in each. We were trying to get into the right number but wrong section. Instructions need to be a little clearer. Would stay there again .

From the outside the hotel looked very modern and inside it was modern the suite we had had a huge balcony. Excellent facilities was very smart and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent and I must commend the breakfast man who was most helpful the evening meal in the restaurant opposite of the hotel was equally very good. We only stopped one night en route from Santander to Costa del Sol but would certainly stay again.

It was 12 euros taxi into Seville Old Town Hotel was very large and a bit shabby on the outside but smart inside. The bar was very inefficiently run. One waiter was actually running up and down. Breakfast was good a good selection. It was set quite high up and had a main ring road running beside it so there was no chance of walking to or from this hotel.

Stayed at the top of the old hill town but made full use of the more modern section at the foot of the hill. Great place to walk around at any time of the day with some stunning architecture. Some streets a really tight squeeze for driving but overall a delightful place. Convenient, too for trips into Seville by car or by train from Brenes.

The location of the hotel is well situated to the edge of the town. It is easy to leave the area and be into the countryside within minutes and not to far to reaching neighbouring towns and the beach. The town itself has a mixture of restaurants (be aware these do not serve food till 2100). There is a petrol station close by and an Aldi. The town is lovely and the people are really friendly. If you make an attempt to speak Spanish they will help despite English not being spoken as much outside of the cities. A lovely area and worth a visit

We were only there for a couple of days and had minimal expectations as the purpose of my stay was not a holiday. However, Ecija had plenty of amenities, a shopping centre with plenty of variety and plenty of free parking. It appears to be a typical Spanish town with heavy roman influence in terms of architecture, statues, with some preserved 'ruins' in the main square. I wasn't there long enough to give a thorough review as I was not there as a tourist and was not there for long. But the experience was much more pleasant than expected and I have nothing negative to say about the place

A lovely typical Spanish town in the heart of Andalucia, with some great tapas bars. Easy to access from motorways, although parking in the town isn't always easy. Not much English spoken, so an authentic Spanish place, with very friendly and helpful local folk.

Seville was absolutely beautiful.

Seville was absolutely beautiful. Being the holiday season, many streets and areas were decorated with lights that made it magical. We were only there 2 days and I wish we would have had more time to explore different areas of the city. The cathedral and alcázar were absolutely stunning. We also loved the Plaza de España. I could truly get lost wandering through each tiny street. All the streets are cobblestone so not the easiest to walk around, comfortable walking shoes are a must. We saw a flamenco show in the Triana neighborhood that was also great.
