Fun and Sun All Year Round

The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife has sun, sand and sangria all year round. Its landscape is dominated by volcanic Mount Teide, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose peak is covered by snow. There are fabulous views over Tenerife and the surrounding islands from the cable car that takes you up.

However, most visitors flock to the island for its beaches. The most exclusive area is Costa Adeje, home to most 5-star hotels in Tenerife. It also houses Aqualand waterpark with waterslides, pools and a dolphinarium, while next door Playa de las Americas boasts Siam Park – Europe’s largest waterpark.

This resort is the island’s party capital and features a large number of Tenerife hotels with swimming pools, and a wealth of bars and restaurants. Adjoining Los Cristianos also has a long, sandy beach.

The southern Tenerife beaches are actually artificial, made from white sand imported from the Sahara Desert, because the natural ones are black sand. Tenerife resorts with just such a beach include Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes, which is dramatically sheltered by sheer cliffs.

We really can't and won't hide our delight and feelings they helped us experience during our staying in this hotel. Every single detail (and there are so many of them) expressed their seriousness in hotel business, professionalism and dedication to their guest/s. Everything is so intelligently composed with a lot of style and taste. From decoration of room, bathroom, lobbies, entries, balcony, restaurant atmosphere, service and variaty and of tasty food options, to small details on pools and parking equipment and organization. The way they host and serve their guests, offer help and advices about neighbouring areas and a lot of it,..it is simply impossible not to be astonished by efforts they made and commitment they express to their guests. Beds are super comfy. Resort is extremly big and beautiful, parking very specious and half a day with a lot of shade....We made booking of this accomodation having a very few informations about it and not knowing what to expect, but now, we both want to say huge thank you to all of the staff of this beautiful touristic jewel of Costa Adeje. The hotel is composed of different apartments which are fully equipped with all sort of things for cooking, sleeping and showering. The staff is very kind, professional, friendly and attentive. They also suggested us what to visit and helped us to book a car to visit the island. If you love quiet is the perfect place but if you want restaurants, surf schools, supermarkets or clubs you can find everything just outside. I recommend to include the breakfast as the choice of food is very wide and you’ll fall in love with the freshly made omelette! I’ll be staying there if I come back to Tenerife, the island of never ending summer!

Literally everything, they were caring, understanding, the room even as an adult was a damn room to die for, having autism being in a completely foreign county can and has been stressful but these people tried their absolute hardest to help in any way they can. Loved the roosters they had roaming but the girlfriend had the fun idea of feeding them from the balcony the first few days they ended up waking us up at 6am every morning for food 😂. Other than that I've stayed in 5* hotels that don't touch the surface on this place. Can't recommend more to go. If you got the option, go.

I have been to Puerto de la Cruz twice and stayed in...

I have been to Puerto de la Cruz twice and stayed in opposite ends of the town just to see a different side. It's quite a big place and plenty there to see. Lovely narrow streets to wonder in, craggy sea front which is fab and a lovely long walk up to Loro Park. The only thing is it's a bit of a trek from Tenerife South Airport and if you are waiting on a transfer that's delayed or hit peak traffic then an hour and a half journey can take 4hrs :( But it's a lovely resort and if you can fly into Tenerife North airport all the better

The Hotel Volcano is in a great Location, it is a great...

The Hotel Volcano is in a great Location, it is a great place to visit, we will be definitely returning next year and for the foreseeable future holidays. I would definitely recommend the Tuk, Tuk tour. It’s gives you a better feel for this beautiful place in playa de Las Americas. I found this place to be very clean, tidy and very Welcoming!!

La Caleta is much nicer than Adeje, less commercial, quieter and much more peaceful. Plenty of diverse bar and restaurants. Pleasant to walk around without the hustle and bustle of Adeje. Having said that, Adeje is within walking distance.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife doesn’t have much of nightlife, almost everything was closed at 21:30-22:00 and there were no people outside either we were on the center of the town or near the plaza. BUT, The island in general is worth it. If you can get outside and go see other towns - villages, it is definitely worth it and be prepared for breathtaking sights, views and amazing monuments. There are a lot sightseeings worth visiting, but Santa Cruz de Tenerife on its own is just not worth it that much (and the parking there is literally impossible)

We loved it here.

We loved it here. The quieter part of the island but easy to get around by bus. Lots of nice restaurants and a really relaxed friendly vibe. Also lots of activities around of that what you want to do.

Little town inhabited mostly by locals with less tourists. Some nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great wooden walkway along the coast, with beautiful views and some nice natural pools for swimming.

Sprawling development which merges into Los Gigantes. At the base of a very steep hill. Good selection of restaurants but spread over a large distance. A couple of great restaurants close to Los Dragos.

The city consists of three parts.

The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

El Medano is totally different than the other more common...

El Medano is totally different than the other more common tourist centres further up the coast. Aimed for surfing types, wind/foil/kite and more. Enough nice restaurants and cafes for local food. No late night life but Fri and Saturdays are usually still lively. Beaches pristine and can walk for kms. Have to mention the wind, as it's almost always blowing, but that's what draws the surfers.

We love living and hiking in the quiet hinterland few miles North, up the hills and away from the water front in LC and LA, yet we also love swiming the ocean at the truly great playas (Camison, Duque, Las Vistas etc.) and walking the Golden Mile when it's not over-crowded. Golf fans have a decent green ready to play, one of the greenest area of Arona/Adeje.
