Highly recommend this hotel off-season, when the region is quiet and without tourists. The hotel was a beautifully redesigned building with gardens pleasant to sit or stroll around. The bedrooms were simple yet designed with natural materials and highlighted the beauty of the building and surroundings. The beds and bed sheets were extremely comfortable, more so than many 5 star hotels we are stayed at. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, and would go back without hesitation to try more of the menu. The staff were also extremely accommodating when we arrived tired and hungry after a full day cycling, Eric kindly made our children a bowl of fruit and yoghurt to help them last until the late dinner serving.

Great location right in the centre of the village. I thought it might be noisy as it's above a bar but it was fine. The host was especially helpful. We will be back!
