HungaryFirst evening we've arrived pretty late, but the receptionist, Paula was very welcoming and helpful with all our questions. Actually not just the first evening, but throughout our stay there. She has helped us regarding the services they have offered at the hotel, about Barcelona touristic info, transportation options, etc.
We had booked a Junior Suite and a room with two single beds. We have asked for nearby rooms which were not granted, but both rooms were on the same corridor, so we didn't make a fuss about it. We got room 101 which I was not happy about at first, since it was the closest to the entrance and the elevator and the reception and I thought it would be noisy, but actually it was the most convenient room that I have ever had at a hotel and it was not noisy at all! :) It was a "disabled room", so it was very spacey: there was a separate livingroom + kitchen area and a large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space. The safe was large and included in the price. Beds were super comfortable! Next to the bed there were 220 V and USB outlets for charging your electric devices.
Breakfast was totally worth the money, I very much recommend it. They had a wide selection of food (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, ham, veggies, yoghurt, all kinds of breads, pastry, jams, cereals, nuts, fruits, even freshly squeezed orange juice).
There was free coffee, tea and even hot chocolate available 0-24 in the restaurant area, even if you haven't paid for breakfast.
They had extra towels available in the room in separate bags, so they knew that if you hadn't opened them, they were definitely still clean and didn't change them unnecessarily.
We have arrived by car, parking was great, right in front, plenty spots available and it was safe. You can find free parking places in Barcelona if you arrive by car, so check them out before going to the city!

Service was excellent, everyone at the front desk was super helpful in assisting us to get transport and directions. Tamara in particular, jumped through hoops to help us with our boarding passes and everything else. She is helpful, kind and friendly! The rooms have everything you will need for your stay - a microwave, kettle, fridge, washing machine, stove and oven. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking accommodation in Barcelona.

Business hotel perfectly met my expectation. Room of the right size, comfy bed, there is a breakfast area were you can carry on with your business in a peaceful environment. The staff is very professional and friendly, they made the most of it to meet our request, starting with the drinks supply late in the night and finishing with the Taxi booking early in the morning. Super recommended for a business trip

This is my third time to stay at this place. I'm generallty quite happy with the value for money rate. It is important to keep in mind the trains schedule to plan the Barcelona visit times. And when you do, it's very covenient and fast.
The hotel is well maintained and except a few very minor issues, everything is functional and spotlessly clean.
Highly recommended.

Breakfast was delicious. So many many and excellent staff who were welcoming and helpful.
Location was great once we worked out how to travel into the city centre. However, we also love ls Sabadell that had so many things to see and we had so many friendly experiences.

Sant Cugat is a really cool city that feels like a small town.
I would not recommend it as a destination city, unless you have business in Sant Cugat, or family to visit. However, it is a 25min train ride away from Barcelona center and a convenient alternative if you do not want to enjoy Barcelona, but rest out in a more low-key area

My group is over the age of 70.
My group is over the age of 70. We found that trying to fit the following tours in Barcelona would have been more enjoyable if we had more time.
Day 1 - Recovering from long flight from Australia
Day 2 : Train into BCN, Tour of San Pau Recinte Modernista in the morning and Palau de la Musica in the afternoon.
Day 3: Train into BCN, Tour of Park Guell in morning, Sagrada Familia in the afternoon at 4.15pm. Returning to Sabadell at 9.00am a very long day.
Day 4: Rest up in the morning and enjoyed a coffee at local patisserie, then to BCN at 4.00pm to walk down La Rambla in BCN and at 8.30pm Casa Batllo.
The walking was a lot for us as not used to it. Very sore feet on Day 2 and Day 3. Not so bad on Day 4.
It is doable but probably better is another 2 days.

You must see the Roman church and views.
You must see the Roman church and views. The town centre is small enough to walk, but you can also take a bus. Local food includes fast food burgers and pizza, and slow local cuisine. They are open till late even on a Sunday.

Terrassa is a lovely town close to Barcelona that has it's own village feel. Plenty of things to see over a few days. A lovely history. By chance, we happen to be there during the annual festival so we were able to fully experience the local culture.

Staying at CARIBBEAN Home was a truly wonderful experience.
Staying at CARIBBEAN Home was a truly wonderful experience. If you want to avoid the hustle and crowds during Barcelona’s peak season, this is the perfect place to stay. It feels just like home. Ingrid is warm, incredibly welcoming, and always helpful. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Barcelona.

Had hoped to do a one day tour of Monserrat Abbey from this location.
This is a truck stop, tattered rooms, everything about it was marginal. Not a place for tourists but for working drivers. No access to reverse freeway required for Monserrat.

A quaint quiet little town just a 40 to 45-minute train ride away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Hanging around here is great if you want to have a more local experience, we loved our time and coming home to a quiet little town after a day and or night out.

We have checked in on 5th June and we were robbed by unknown persons seating into reception of hotel.
After that, Informing hotel staff has neither provided support in showing us CCTV camera nor they have provided prompt support to Police to which we filled the complaint on the same day. Our many valuable theft due to Hotel's 0 proof and pathetic security system. We lost money, mobile phones, keys, bank cards of my Wife's purse bag. I will definitely NOT recommend anyone checking into this hotel and I will ensure your hotel get some action from Spain government. We suspect Hotel staff is also involved in this kind of robbery plotted by Tax+Hotel staff.

A beautiful village/town with its own train station.
A beautiful village/town with its own train station. There were a couple of cafes and a bakery but I didnt go to them. I stayed at the hotel on my university campus and Bellaterra was the closest stop. Very steep hills but worth it for the views and gorgeous church. Surrounded by amazing properties and nature.

From my one time experience at Ibis Ripollet, you'll get the best out of a two star hotel possible. The value for money is great, the beds are very comfortable, the rooms are good, clean and with everything you'll need (for the price). The accessibilities into Barcelona are great (using a car on a weekend). The area did feel a bit "unsafe" when we got there (late at night) but not during the day.
