This is a small but really neat hotel right at Casco Viejo. We were very happy with the facilities and helpfulness of the staff. There is a taxi stand just across the road, which is very convenient to travel to and form the airport. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in future.

From the car elevator to the smooth checkin with the impressive Tanya (she had had the old guy next to me eyeing her up!) fantastic rooms with super comfortable beds, awesome bar, the general manager quite a young GM especially for such a property, has implemented some great original ideas like the help yourself candies and Prosecco at the entry. The views, cannot find better. The suggestions for local restaurants and tourist trios are perfect. Breakfast is very good and live stations are well managed. Upon checkout super friendly Tanya took care of us again. The small touch of a clean windscreen of our car was a great touch. Looking forward to coming to visit your hotel again!! Nice hotel in a good location. The staff was ok, they were willing to accommodate us earlier and helped us when we needed something. There are different reviews of the rooms, but we got a super Comfort room number 310. A spacious room with comfortable beds, enough space for clothes, with good lighting and a TV with international channels. The thick dark blackout curtains that didn't let in any light were also a positive. A big advantage is the door in the corridor between the bathroom/entrance door and the room, which absorbs all the noise from the main corridor. The bathroom was also excellent, spacious with a comfortable shower. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. From scrambled eggs to fried eggs, sausages, jamon iberico, chorizo ​​iberico, various hams and cheeses, toasts to jams and cakes and very tasty pastries. There was even fresh orange juice, currants and blueberries on offer.

Very very large room (too large for 2 person) overlooking the terrace in the groung floor. Small golf course (Par 3 course I guess) at the back of the hotel so you can have an evening walk after the course is closed (part of the hotel resort). A proper dining restaurant. They offer good fish cousine and comprehensive wine list (expensive ~ frugal). Plenty of parking space. Very good buffet breakfast. Huge choice, nespresso coffee including decaff. capsules.

Aranxa, the owner, made us extremely welcome. We had a lovely room with a terrace and view of the ocean. The location was perfect for anyone with their own transport. We had use of the garden and kitchen facilities. Within easy reach of fantastic beaches, pretty villages and an amazing bird sanctuary. An extremely relaxing experience and highly recommendable.

Great hotel, room was immaculate with a dream view to the ocean. Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was impeccable, with plenty of towels and great sized for a couple. Parking right by the hotel, which was very convenient. Felipe at the bar was friendly and professional. He provided us with a great service even considering that it was very late at night.

Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

The beaches and harbour were lovely.

The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

The accommodation was very very good. Clean and Iban the host was super helpful the whole time he came to meet us personally and showed the whole apartment which was the best I've seen in a long time. The asked me if I needed help with anything in the town. We had a little problem and he personally offered all the assistance we could ask from out of hospital own goodness. I will be booking this apartment yearly going forward a really good time and made better by a great accommodation and Host

Small town within reach easily of the ferry about 11 minutes to ferry from hotel. Friendly helpful people rooms very clean and warm. This part of Spain is very Green lots of trees reminds me of Wales and also buildings are French oriented some like in ski resorts very lovely countryside.

It’s really an awful place.

It’s really an awful place. I don’t see any good reason to stay there besides work commitments and/or the need to find a cheaper option than staying in Bilbao. In the evening there’s no place around that offers food at normal times, they’re either closed or open only for drinking. I ended up at a Domino’s Pizza after a couple of wasted hours looking for a proper restaurant, on a Sunday evening.

The Museo de la Paz is impressive, a visit there cannot miss during the trip. For dinner it is necessary to book a tablet in advance, as per all the cities in the Basque Country. With the Eusko train you can reach in 30 minutes some villages on the coast such as Mundaka and Bermeo, very beautiful places. You can buy the Barik card to travel at a very low price on all kind of public transport in Bizkaya.

A vibrant Basque town vastly underrated in most tourists’s view. There is a lot to do and a lot to see beside the Guggenheim museum.The people of Bilbao are friendly and helpful and the town is very clean, lots of green spaces and fine buildings. Highly recommend a short visit
