A gem in walking distance to Bole International Airport. Not that it matters really as they provide a complimentary shuttle to and from the Airport. Staff are fantastic and the rooms are very modern and comfortable each with a balcony. This is my preferred place for transiting.

It way my first trip to Addis, where I discovered amazing people, always smiling to anyone. Lobelia hotel team was extremely kind and helpful. Room service and restaurant was excellent. The best part is that the hotel provides a tour guide; Mr. "Fish". What an amazing person, kind and very helpful. Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .

I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. Located a little southwest of Addis Ababa, the area is incredibly safe and well-maintained. The transportation is also convenient, with easy access to public transit and major roads. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to stay here during my visit and would highly recommend this neighbourhood to others.

Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.
