The area is very exceptional, an interesting historical site, very well maintained. We had a very quick visit but we enjoyed it although it was raining. There is much to see, lovely old wooden buildings, Makkarakoski rapids, you can take the tours to learn more of the area, etc. The staff is very friendly, breakfast is plenty (very good oat porridge and exquisite strawberry-rhubarb jam!), room has airconditioning and there was even a shared kitchen upstairs (we were in Sahala building). The added bonus is that you can recharge your electric car for free! This is going to be our regular place to stay when we are heading to Pori or the area in vicinity. It is only 10mins by car from Pori.

Hotel is located in the very centre of Pori, near Kauppatori, 1 min to bus station. There is no reception at the hotel, but its office is 2 min away. Alina at the office was super nice and friendly and helped me a lot, letting me charge my phone, leave my luggage and even taking it to the room in the evening - Alina, thanks a lot! Very nice restaurant Päre next door offers breakfast and lunch for reasonable prices. Room is nice and clean, there is a microwave, kitchen utensils, a hairdryer, etc. I enjoyed my stay and would be happy to visit again.
