The hotel is located relatively close to the autoroute and is a good nightstop being approximately 4 hours from Calais. It is basic but represents good value for money. The room was very clean and the aircon was great. There are a number of places to eat within 10 mins walk and the nearest is a good steak restaurant next to the hotel. There is plenty of car park capacity and check-in is open until 2100; thereafter I understand that there is a method of obtaining the key code for access to the hotel.

The hotel is perfectly situated for a stop while driving through to southern France. It’s basic but clean and comfortable. What made it great is the staff. We stayed twice (once in each direction) and both times they were so very friendly and welcoming. They were also very helpful when we left something behind and had to have it sent back via UPS. We will certainly stay there next time our travels take us that way.

this was my second stay in an Ibis styles hotel - and I was very impressed - great location close to everything you need - spotlessly clean and very comfortable - parking on hand - staff were very helpful and polite - good buffet breakfast - 👍

Great location just off the motorway, so convenient for an overnight stay on the way to South of France. Quiet with no disturbances yet several amenities close by. Comfortable beds, comfy pillows and clean, spacious rooms. Staff at check in desk very friendly. Nice restaurant next door where you get discount as a guest.

An extraordinary town overflowing with mediaeval buildings...

An extraordinary town overflowing with mediaeval buildings so very picturesque. Many bars and restaurants. A fabulous Musee d'Art Moderne, unexpectedly good! Cite of Stained Glass, housed in a beautiful building was also very enjoyable. All in close proximity to the amazing cathedral.

If you want a motel style stopover, this place fits the bill. It’s not fancy. The breakfast is good. Plenty of free car parking. We had bikes and kept them in our rooms for security which was not a problem for the hotel. Staff were all really pleasant and helpful.

In addition to being given a wonderful welcome by the host...

In addition to being given a wonderful welcome by the host and being made so comfortable - Saint-Julien-les-Villas is a residential area of Troyes a few minutes drive from the centre (or a 30 minute stroll) and, so it is a good place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Troyes itself is fascinating and historic. We didn't have enough time to visit all the museums this time and definitely hope to return.

We've stayed before but the hotel has gone downhill.

We've stayed before but the hotel has gone downhill. Rooms are looking tired. Food in the restaurant was very poor. Its still a handy location though for an overnight stop off on your travels through France, but nothing more. We'll look to find somewhere else next time.

Lots of historical buildings, there’s a walking tour that’s well signed. A blend of old and modern. Small enough to walk in a day, there is a free bus that you can get on to take you round. Plenty of choices of places to eat & drink.

Troyes is a beautiful example of a town packed full of half-...

Troyes is a beautiful example of a town packed full of half-timbered medieval houses everywhere you look. And so many churches and a beautiful cathedral. It's well worth a visit and specifically look out for the stained glass windows and we would recommend a visit to the Cite du Vitrail which is a fabulous museum about stained glass and apothecaries. Some nice restaurants too.
