This place is so nicely designed. It was very clean. Owner was very nice and welcoming also. A very calm and peaceful environment. Parking is comfortable as it is right in their driveway. Location was also good if you have a car. Loved it! Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved this site - the gardens are superb, established and beautifully maintained -a peaceful, tranquil calm with lots of shade- quite tropical! Our welcome was very warm and informative. The cabin we stayed in was spotlessly clean (in fact superior to some 5 star hotels we have stayed in!) it was well equipped & very comfortable. We found the area had lots to offer and was a great location for exploring Cap Ferret, Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and facilities within easy reach. Don't forget to pre order your croissants & baguettes at reception for the morning- delivered from the local boulangerie - they are delicious 👌🏼. We hope to return (perhaps when a little cooler 32 degrees 🔥 when we stayed) and we would highly recommend. PS Our little dog came too and he loved it also🐶

We were delighted to find this little paradise amongst the pines. Juliette greeted us warmly and showed us the beautiful garden and pool and our small but perfect room. A lovely large bed, all the plugs you could need, lovely toiletries and a good air conditioner. We cannot compliment Juliette enough for her helpful advice on great restaurants and places to visit. We had a memorable stay

The house in itself is rich of charme and atmosphere, the location is perfect, our room was a tiny one but lovely. unfortunately we had no chance to try the restaurant that looked very good but...the plus was from the 2 young (boy and girl) at the reception. They have been so smiling and familiar that we bring back in our hearts. Grazie, Micaela and Bob

The wooden chalets were spaced apart enough to give you the feel of being in the forest. The chalet was perfectly adequate for two people. There was sleeping accommodation for four people but it would have felt overcrowded with four people.

Ideal place to relax and enjoy Cap Ferret. Arrived by car and from then only needed the bicycle to enjoy the area, or the boat to transfer to Arcachon. Lovely host who took care on us!

Cap Ferret still has some degree of old-world charm as a sea...

Cap Ferret still has some degree of old-world charm as a sea-side resort, and has not been over-developed. Working fisherman's huts, and holiday beach shacks can still be found, and it looks very much as I remembered it on my first visit 20 years ago. To get to it you have a 40 minute drive around the bay - past some crowded beach parks and caravan parks - or you take the ferry from Arcachon, which is smarter but much more developed as a resort. Cap F erret is much more low-key.

Lege Cap Ferret is a very quiet town that gives great access...

Lege Cap Ferret is a very quiet town that gives great access to all the beaches, towns and restaurants in the area. If you stay here you will find it very peaceful, but you will need a car to access everything else. We went in the last week of August, the traffic was OK, and parking seemed easy everywhere. In our time we visited all the major beaches and towns - hired bikes - and Bordeaux was also easy to drive into. We dipped in and out of the busy places as we needed.

Emilie, our host was magnificent and kind.

Emilie, our host was magnificent and kind. She made us feel very much part of the community. She knows all the super restaurants and oyster caban's and was able to book in advance for us as they are always very busy. We felt at home in this accommodation. The breakfast was Top Class! Until next year....

What a place. Awesome.

What a place. Awesome. We went out of season so a lot of things weren’t open. But also we didn’t have to contend with lots of tourists. It’s so beautiful. Well worth a trip. L’herbe area … stunning. Easy to get around by car or cycle or walk. Fab place.
