FranceThe staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the village, surrounded by tall trees and it feels like an old family bastide. We loved the pool too and hearing the cicadas around us. The children loved playing in the hotel park. Breakfast had plenty of locally sourced food and everything was fresh and tasty.

Everything was really great. The location right in front of the Sainte Baume was amazing. The pool and Jacuzzi are amazing, in perfect condition and really easy to use. We had the suite and the decoration was typical of the region (not the boring ones from soulless hotels), the bathroom was spacious with a huge shower and of course everything was perfectly clean. We had more than enough towels to use for the bathroom and also the pool (even with bathrobes). The hosts are the best part of the stay. Friendly, ready to help at any time. We booked the meal on top and didn't regret it one second. Virginie is a great cook and we had a great time chatting with her and her husband.

Tranquil and natural surroundings where just the birdsong can be heard. A great place to unwind and explore the Provencal countryside.
The house is a typical Provencal farmhouse and the lovely owners, Caroline and Jean-Luc made us feel very welcome and were so helpful with regards to the local area.
Jean-Luc loves his Astronomy and the Domaine is ideal for this study.
There's a great tennis court and swimming pool which was a little cool in June.
Very welcome fresh continental breakfast served on our patio in the mornings.

This was an absolute haven. Gabrielle is so calming, welcoming, and kind. I arrived quite flustered after a stressful morning and Gabrielle was so accomodating allowing me to arrive much earlier than normal check in time. She made the most beautiful dinner and breakfast. Gabrielle even drove me back out to the main road as I was leaving as I was nervous driving manual car. I am so grateful to have found this sanctuary and hope to return one day for a longer stay!

The property is very nice and calm. It’s just beside a beautiful forest. The rooms are very charming and they have everything necessary to feel perfect. The owners are so friendly and hospitable. They made a delicious dinner for my wife’s birthday. We had fun with our friends and we really relaxed. The breakfast is perfect too with fresh juice and fruits and of course croissants. Thank you Catherine and Thomas! Hope see you soon!

We really loved this guesthouse! Our highlight was the diner - which is absolutely amazing!
The rooms were large with a lot of attention to detail. Same holds for the garden and the pool area, where all equipment was of high quality.
Also the hosts gave us good recommendations about the region and what to visit.

A very beautiful town with nothing much to do.
A very beautiful town with nothing much to do. One full night would be enough. Not a very touristic area so did not have much attractions. The other village Cotignac is worth a visit during your stay there.

The city may semble what Aix-en-Provence was 50 years ago. With the real Provence flair. And the unique Shrine of St. Joseph, with a recognized apparition in 1660. There is another important Shrine I didn’t have the opportunity to visit: Notre Dame de Grace. I should have planned 2 entire days for this city.

The hosts could not have done more for us. They were incredibly accommodating. The breakfast was super fresh and the room was comfy and clean. Our room overlooked the valley and the pool. Towels were laid out every day around the pool for us to use. Location wise, it was in the middle of some beautiful towns. Would 100% recommend!

The local square, cafes and the atmosphere of this lovely provincial town was relaxed and friendly. The highlight was the Magdalene Basilica - the history, and that it has been a place of pilgrimage for generations. Also that St Maximin is a stepping stone to the St Baume forest and mountain area.

Warm welcome with cold bottle of wine in the fridge, beer and coke. Hospitable friendly host!
The villa with private pool is located in a beautiful enclosed garden. Our dog was free to roam. The villa is surrounded by tomato and pepper bushes and many flowers. At the rear of the house is a large BBQ area with garden table and hammock. At the front is the swimming pool with sun loungers, a seating area and dining facilities. Everything in very good and modern condition. Large living room with modern open kitchen equipped with everything you need. 2 very comfortable bedrooms, each with its own shower and double sinks. The floor cooling system was special and wonderful. There are screens throughout the house so that the windows could be left open at night. Very nice! In short, fantastic accommodation !!

Cotignac is a gem in the back country.
Cotignac is a gem in the back country. Close to many interesting places, the village itself is captivating. From walking the Main Street Cours Gambetta to venturing up the cliff faces to see the troglodyte caves, there is so much to do. One of the highlights was the sacred trinity church on the top of the hill. But the best part about the town was the delightful restaurants and staff. A wonderful place.
