CanadaWonderful place, perfectly located. The island is small but there was some points of interest close by, we were even able to walk. The view and site is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The rooms are cute and cosy and the staff was very pleasant and always helpful. We also ate at the hotels restaurant and everything was delicious! We highly enjoyed our stay and we recommend without hesitation!

Wonderful place, perfectly located. The island is small but there was some points of interest close by, we were even able to walk. The view and site is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

Belvedere is situated just a short walk from the ferry terminal, along a street with fabulous views over Goatfell and the bay below. My room was convenient, had a thick cosy carpet and a warm duvet.
Breakfast was excellent!
The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.

Lovely room with all you needed, spacious, clean with amazing view. Cosy breakfast cafe with lovely couple running it as a seperate business. Good location in centre of town which was also a good location for touring the island.

Felt very homie and welcomed by the owners and staff. The house is set in the beautiful garden. Very good food. Bus stop, grocery store near by. Maty possibilities for different walks in the neighbourhood.

Such an interesting place - fabulous views, beautiful walks, the beach, harbour and excellent selection of shops and places to eat. Good bus service around the island if no car but keep an eye on seasonal schedules. If you like walking this is a great place to visit. The 3 mile walk from Brodick to Lamlash is stunning and it was a perfect day for it in November, cool, sun shining and no rain - a little boggy in places but a good walk for most ages. Had a fabulous meal at The Lamlash Bay Hotel overlooking The Holy Isle and indulged in a little locally made shopping, bus back to Brodick - a perfect day.

Lamlash is an excellent centre for touring round Arran with its fantastic and varied scenery. Easy access to mountains, beaches and all the facilities one needs to make a great holiday. And only a relatively short drive from the ferry port of Brodick.

Whiting Bay was the perfect location for us for touring . We loved the peace and quiet and it was nice to just walk from our accommodation to Glenashdale Falls . The sea was so clear and safe for swimming .

Very small place but there is a hotel and presumably a bar too. Wee roll shop which does great breakfast rolls and sandwiches. Fabulous bakers too. We were on Arran to swim so didn’t use much of the facilities in BWF other than the beach.

Staff welcoming and friendly food was excellent and good value We had a lovely room overlooking the sea but no en suite bathroom Our Bathroom which was private to us was down the corridor If booking do request an ensuite or bring a dressing gown !!

We were doing the Arran coastal way and the first 3 nights...
We were doing the Arran coastal way and the first 3 nights we stayed here. Buses were easy to get (if times a little limited on a Sunday) so we made it back in time each afternoon. Deer roam the village (don't feed them - if they get too tame they need to be culled) and there are seals in the bay. The walks in the area are good.

Beautiful and peaceful.
Beautiful and peaceful. We traveled by car which made it easiest to go where we wanted but I hear the bus service is good. Arran has a whole variety of activities- hiking, history, distilleries, incredible food, access to abundant nature and wildlife, and a great pub scene. I bought most of my take home gifts here.

Charming village on a beautiful bay, with views of the tallest peak on the island. Many interesting little shops, a terrific bakery, and a pub.
But too few places are open to eat in the evenings. Easy to shop for groceries for self-catering.

Short drive from ferry which was great. We arrived about 7.30pm and an envelope with name and code for room was waiting on us. Very well organised. Room 1 was great with lovely views and a lovely sofa to chill on. Place was spotless and a comfy bed. No need to close curtains which was lovely as the sun shone on next morning. Breakfast cooked to perfection which you order night before. Loads of places to see and only a short drive. Definitely recommend this place. 👌
