Loved how quirky the building is and how much attention went into every detail - little hand written notes, a lounge room with tea, coffee and snacks. The staff are absolutely wonderful, so friendly. Breakfast included and was delicious, and the pub for dinner was also one of the best I’ve had in the uk. Highly recommend

We were delighted with the hotel: lovely, spacious, and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom with all the necessities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We also ate at the pub; the meal was delicious, as was the breakfast. The hotel has a historical soul, but is equipped with up-to-date amenities.

A lovely traditional Bed&Breakfast, only a 15 minutes drive from the ferry terminal. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We were due to arrive just after the kitchen closes and they offered to prepare and keep some salad and sandwiches in the fridge for the time of our arrival, we really appreciated it! The room was gorgeous, the breakfast was perfect.

It was such a lovely experience. The property was clean and cosy. There were plenty of towels, pillows and fire wood. We was left complimentary hot chocolates , biscuits and marshmallows which was a really nice touch for the kids.

We were walkers on the North Downs Way and picked this hotel because it’s right on the trail. What a great choice it turned out to be! The room was big and everything worked—the plumbing, the electrical, and the AC. The bed was big and divinely comfortable. Best of all was the lovely staff—in the restaurant and at reception. The breakfast buffet was excellent and set us up nicely for the day. Would happily stay here again.

I have stayed a few times in the Hythe Imperial over the last 30 years and not once have I been disappointed. The staff are super friendly, the airconditioned rooms are very clean , quiet and comfortable and the bed is perfect for a good night's sleep! I do not eat much for breakfast but the buffet style breakfast had everything that your heart desired, hot or cold. Can highly recommend a stay in this hotel which is right next to the English Channel.
