This little cabin is just perfect. The moment you step in it feels like home. Great view towards the mountains. It has all amenities you need, glasses, mugs, plates, pans etc. Libby just cleaned the place when we arrived, it was impeccable. Bed was comfortable, hot water was really hot.

The Kilchrenan Inn offers a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The inn's bar is a cozy retreat, featuring a traditional wood-burner and a selection of Scottish beers, ciders, gins, and whiskies. It's an ideal spot to unwind. Breakfast is the best we had in Scotland, especially homemade granola. The staff is extremely polite and friendly. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Everything was great and we are so sorry we coudn't stay longer.

I fell in love with the location when I saw the pictures on Booking and was more than happy to discover than the suite we rented was even better! The location of the Kilchurn suites is really convenient if you want to travel all around Scotland as it is quite central (30 minutes from Oban and located at the crossroads to different major places). The appartment is confortable, very well furnished and with lot of brightness. The kitchen is totally equiped, allowing us to cook and be totally autonomous. There's a big parking space to park in the courtyard. As there are 3 suites in the same buiding, I was afraid it might be noisy but this is not the case; we had a lot of privacy and quietness in our appartement and we didn't realise that we had neighbours. We had a great stay at Kilchurn suites and found very lovely hosts. Paul and Kate are soo nice and helpful that we were sad to leave them after 2 weeks. We expect to return with friends as we still have to discover a lot of things in Scotland and in the area. Thanks to Paul and Kate for their warm welcome!

To wake up in absolute silence and see squirrels bussy in the nearby trees and finches on the edge of the terrace is adding to the luxurious feeling of calmness and well-being this spacious and well equipped home offers. We enjoyed the beautiful smell of forest air and the silence of just wind. But what really made our stay outstanding and unforgettable was the ever changing light fall and the play of shadows on the lake and the surrounding hills. We couldn't keep our eyes off it. The image on the picture is what you see from your room. A magical place! Thank you Catriona for your good care.

Beautiful village, very quiet, with incredible views of the Loch Awe. There is not much around so be aware of that, but as long as groceries are done before there is no problem. There was a coffee shop there (not open every day), but we did not have time to try it out.

Quiet village off the main road but within easy access of it. Some guest houses, a railway station ( Oban to Glasgow line ), bus / coach stops, a general ( food ) store off the centre. No restaurant, cafe, food stands, pubs nor bars however. Walking paths from the quiet road to the Duncan Ban Macintyre monument, quiet side roads to Stronmilchan (Old Military Road ) and along the river Orchy. Easy access by car, bus, coach, ( care if walking along the main road ) to Kilchurn Castle and to the Kilchurn Castle Viewpoint on the side road to Inveraray.

Breath taking scenery. You can’t help but feel relaxed here. Lots of paddle boarders and kayakers with easy access to Loch. Some great places to eat - both Kilcreggan Inn and Taycreggan Hotel had great service and excellent food as well as welcoming dogs. Look forward to visiting this area again.

Riverside Cottage B&b is a fantastic place located in a paradise, beautiful, quiet, clean, cosy, adorable. Graham is a fantastic person, a great host, an artist, you should see what he can create with wood and, Graham and his wife love dogs and this is a super plus for me. Wish I will be able to return soon and enjoy some more of this paradise. Grazie e arrivederci, Loredana, Edoardo, Lella e Marisa.

views to die for/lovely home cooked breakfast and good choice/umbrellas and wellies provided for bad weather which is a very nice touch/friendly helpful staff. We didn't like disrepair in all areas of the building, and distance from main road to hotel - challenging. but an excellent holiday thoroughly enjoyed. Oban is a beautiful place to visit and many amenieties there with only about a 30 minute car drive away. Botanical gardens excellent to. All car parks cheap

Dalmally is actually a 15 minute drive from Ardbrecknish and there is a fantastic Kirk there you need to see. Some English home owners have their “private property” and “no trespassing” signs up which enrages me no end, this is my land and I’ll roam where I feel like it.

We chose to stay in Cladich as we had booked a Highland Cow tour at the Cladich Fold. The planned route from Arrochar to Inveraray was scuppered by a landslide but easy alternative route in was just as scenic. About 10 miles from Inveraray to get an evening meal.
