- From US$102.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 1,891 reviewsMy single room was perfect. It had all you might expect, wardrobe, desk, chair, hairdryer, drink making facilities. My bed was one of the comfiest I've slept on, and the room was lovely and clean. It also had its own shower room, which was nicely stocked with shower gel and soaps and, again, was lovely and clean. For breakfast, there was a help yourself buffet, which consisted of both hot and cold choices, from a full English to cereals and toast. The area was well presented, and the cooked breakfast I had was hot and tasty. The staff were friendly, chatty, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is a 5 min walk from the high street, with a nice selection of shops and cafés and about 10 mins to the seafront. The promenade is on the flat, as is the shopping area, for anyone with difficulty walking, it's ideal. The castle is about 10 mins walk and there is a cafe and arcade along the way, with a lovely fish and chip shop. For anyone reading this, I would highly recommend Four Seasons, for the lovely staff, excellent location, great room, and lovely breakfast choice, it has it all.Guest review byMichelleSpain

There is enough to do for a few days out of season and it is an interesting place. Some parts of the town are tired but it was a lot better than many seaside towns. Vale of Rheidol railway and Devil's bridge is a must. EV charging in the car parks while you are on the train as well. What not to like.Guest review byTrevorUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Barmouth; if you don't know is surrounded by beautiful mountainous countryside, has a large expanse of sandy beach along a very accessible promenade. Good road or rail links. Personally I prefer decent main roads to the unpredictability of Motorways though roadworks seem to appear anywhere these days, so it can take a little longer, but the views make up for it for me. Plenty of places to eat and drink,Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Brecon is a great little centre for walking with a nice atmosphere and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. We live an hours drive away but it is really nice to book for a weekend away and to explore the area, the weather isn’t always kind so staying in Brecon provides for alternatives if necessary.Guest review byDawnUnited Kingdom - 10

The purpose of our visit was to see a show at the Borough Theatre. Hence we only stayed one night. We live in Bristol so Abergavenny is not far. However we decided to stay over and have a meal rather than driving back after the show. The Theatre was good and we would visit again. We had dinner at the Anatolian restaurant which was excellent. I know Turkish food and it was good. We would consider visiting again and staying over to do some walking or seeing the sites.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10

I was only there for one evening and 1 day and spent a few hours in the town, I found the people to be friendly and the town small but charming and very picturesque. Nice shops and pubs and a great antique/ second hand shop.Guest review byjohnUnited Kingdom - 10

My Stay was excellent,Breakfast was cooked to perfection, My room was very clean and tidy, I Couldn't ask for more. I asked for a lower bed pillow which was supplied the same day with a slim one,There hospitality was exceptional Couldn't do enough for you to make you feel welcome,My motorcycle was safely parked in there garage,And every morning the garage doors were opened for me, Which was a very helpfull ack of kindness. Would definitely recommend and stay again, Thank you for a lovely four day stay.Guest review byJonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

If you are looking for an amazing beach with great dunes for long walks Aberdyfi is great. Other than that it is a very quiet seaside town with a few shops and places to eat. There is a train station that can take you along the coast, also a golf club and a bowling clubGuest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom - 10
The Seven Stars at Aberedw is fabulous.
The Seven Stars at Aberedw is fabulous. Fantastic people working there, the food is excellent, with large portions, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. There are quite a few pubs in Builth Wells centre, but nome of them match the Seven Stars at Aberedw. Visit the White Hart in Builth Wells, a locals pub, but they make you feel very welcome.Guest review byDaveUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Rhayader is a lovely town but there is nothing much there anymore. It is the gateway town to Elan Valley, which is absolutely awesome...... the scenery and the walks are stunning. Couple of nice places to eat in Rhayader .... the Triangle and the Eagle. Theres a lovely riverside walk and the Gigrin is a must to see the Red Kites.Guest review byAndieUnited Kingdom - 10
Bala is a lovely town at the end of the lake.
Bala is a lovely town at the end of the lake. It seems to consist mainly of one high Street with various shops, pubs and eateries. The lake is beautiful. We hired a double kayak which cost 40.00ph and the whole hiring process was super easy. We also did the steam train ride along the lake which was lovely. There's lots more to explore so I'd definitely go back for a couple of days and explore the area some more.Guest review bysueUnited Kingdom
