I used to live in Chiswick when I was working in London so I have been searching for the perfect accommodation to relive my good old days and I found it. The room is nicely equipped and decorated and the location is convenient and accessible. I love the eco & sustainable touch of the home hotel and it does feel like a home away from home even when I only stayed for a night. The staff are super friendly and the lobby/restaurant has a really good community vibe.

Beautiful rooms and elegant hotel with a modern spin. Friendly and professional staff. Great location, but well designed so you don't realise you are in the center of London until you walk out of the hotel door. The property is at a great location, Shoreditch is a very hip place and it’s just in 5 min walking distance from two tube stations. There are many bars ,pubs and restaurants in the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable and fitted with all the necessities. Though a bit small the quality of materials was good and the staff is extremely courteous and helpful. The hotel also has a bar at the lobby and has a great vibe all together.

The Dorchester is more than just a hotel; it's an institution, a beacon of elegance in the heart of London. Our recent stay was nothing short of extraordinary, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury. The staff's impeccable service was discreet yet attentive, anticipating our every need. The surprise upgrade to a suite was the cherry on top, transforming our stay into an unforgettable experience. The suite itself was a masterpiece of design, exuding timeless elegance with modern comforts. The spacious layout, plush furnishings, and breathtaking views of Hyde Park created a serene and indulgent haven. Every detail, from the exquisite linens to the state-of-the-art amenities, was meticulously curated. Beyond the luxurious accommodations, The Dorchester offers a plethora of world-class dining experiences. We indulged in afternoon tea at The Promenade, a truly delightful affair with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an array of delectable pastries. The ambiance was simply enchanting, with live piano music setting the perfect tone. The hotel's prime location, just steps away from Hyde Park, provided easy access to some of London's most iconic attractions. However, we found ourselves reluctant to leave the comfort of The Dorchester, as it offered everything we could desire.

From the moment I arrived until my departure, my stay at Claridge’s Hotel in London was nothing short of spectacular. Celebrating my birthday in such an iconic establishment made my special day even more memorable. The hotel exudes elegance and charm, with its luxurious accommodations and impeccable service. I was particularly impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. A special shout-out to Amine, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. His attention to detail, kindness, and exceptional service truly stood out and added a personal touch to my birthday celebrations. The ambiance, the exquisite dining options, and the overall experience at Claridge’s have left a lasting impression on me. It’s clear why this hotel is a favorite among those who appreciate the finer things in life. I can confidently say that whenever I’m in London, Claridge’s will be my go-to destination. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Amine, for making my birthday unforgettable. I’m already looking forward to my next stay!

The location is amazing, the hotel very nice and clean, and the staff were amazing. We only stayed one night (and were given a very unexpected and much appreciated upgrade to a suite), but enjoyed the spa and the breakfast and would more than happily stay here again. Also, the hotel was excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the Mayfair area (nearly 1/3 of the price) and I don't know what the other hotels could provide extra that would justify the higher price.

London with all its history and fabulous buildings was breathtaking. A lot of care seems to go into looking after structures that are so old. Every where you go it seems to be a wow moment. Hounslow is a lively and diverse area with plenty to explore. My favorite spots were Osterley Park and House for its peaceful greenery and Hounslow High Street for shopping and local life. Getting around is easy thanks to the Piccadilly Line and regular buses connecting to Heathrow and Central London. I enjoyed delicious meals at Taste of Lahore, Twentynine Restaurant & Bar, and several vibrant street food stalls offering kebabs, samosas, and fresh curries. For quick bites and essentials, Quality Foods supermarket was a great find, offering authentic ingredients and ready-made meals from around the world. Hounslow is ideal for solo travelers, with friendly locals, great food options, and convenient access to nearby attractions like Richmond and Kew Gardens

The apartment was clean and had all the necessary facilities and everything was in perfect working order. The property is also conveniently located near transport links and shopping centre. However, I wish there had been a direct contact number to reach someone in real time, rather than communicating only through Booking.com, even for urgent matters. I panicked when I couldn’t access the keys and could not open the door the first time I tried and didn’t receive an immediate response, especially since I was new in a foreign country. This almost ruined my experience.

I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House.

I recently stayed at Heatherbank Guest House. The location is relatively convenient for Stansted Airport – about an hour by car transfer – and the staff were friendly enough. As my room did not have a microwave, they kindly allowed me to use the kitchen one. The room and bathroom were clean, with fresh towels provided daily, which I appreciated. However, one major issue left me quite frustrated. On the morning of my departure, I had an early flight at 7 am and needed to wake up at 3 am. To my surprise, the electricity (or main lighting) in my room and bathroom was completely off. I had to shower using my phone’s flashlight. Thankfully, I had finished packing the night before, as doing so in pitch darkness would have been impossible. I checked, and it wasn’t just my room – the small room between my entrance and the main hallway also had no power. Only the main hallway lights were on, which was a relief, as otherwise carrying two heavy suitcases downstairs would have been extremely unsafe. This situation made me think: what if a guest were ill and needed the bathroom at night, a breastfeeding mother needing light, or someone returning late in the evening? I had noticed the generator (or main power) going on and off during the two previous nights as well, with a short power surge to the mini fridge, which was quite noisy. This is an important matter that should be communicated to guests and fixed promptly. While the cleanliness and some of the staff’s helpfulness were positives, this power outage experience left me feeling stressed and disappointed.

Where we were, there was a station and many buses so connections are there to get around. Pleasant enough suburb.
