From the moment we arrived at The Driftwood Greg and Lihong made us feel so welcomed. We arrived early and there was no issue in accessing our spotlessly clean room on the 2nd floor. The room was equipped with a fridge which was very handy for storing my insulin, a coffee machine, bottled water, extra towels and all the other nice things you get in high end hotels. Looking forward to returning in the future.

I come to the UK just for the Hotel Pelirocco. It makes me happy that there are people in the world who make extraordinary spaces for others to enjoy. Everything about the place is magical from the paintings in the corridors to the bounce of the mattresses and the tiling in the showers. Loved the atmosphere, the staff were excellent. But on my second night l wanted some food and because there was a big party booked No food was available..and they had not informed me.The manager did go out for a takeaway and provided me with plate and cutlery , which l thought was excellent !!.. Also at my age 81 and difficult with mobility l needed a walk in shower which was not available and the shower was in the bath whi although low l could not get into and there was no walk in shower rooms available. But apart from that my room was lovely and my whole stay was wonderful. I will certainly return on my next visit to Brighton but obviously try to book a room with walk in shower. Very satisfied Jane Law.

Location is perfect, you can walk anywhere, the view is breathtaking, all the employees were so nice and helpful! Room service with different options for kids helped when the little one was sick and the indoor pool, little play area in the main lobby and few fishes in front of the reception made for amazing memories even during rainy days. We will go back and so should you!!

Simply a beautiful place where you live as in the 80' / 90' when life was a lot more enjoyable and all the places.. bars, cafes, restaurants, shops.... were fun and joy all the times. Plus lots of attractions, like Brighton Marina, The Brighton Pier, The Lanes... and lots of other attractions, make Brighton a lovely place to visit. Overall also a safe place, with lot of people everywhere but at the same time quiet and peaceful as people are really relaxed and friendly. I love it !

Lewes is very good as a place to stay if you are interested in history or just like browsing local shops. It also has excellent railway connections so you can get to Brighton, Hastings, Eastbourne and up into Sussex by public transport. It is hilly and a good base if you want to explore the South Downs by walking. A good range of restaurants, pubs and cafes too.
