Lovely little hotel in quiet Grandtully. We enjoyed the food and stay at this small inn, and walked one afternoon along the river bank to the next town as well as visited (the outside at least - as it was closed until 2 PM) the nearby Menzies Castle.

Excellent communications with the owner, Jack prior to arrival. Once we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our superb host, Holly. Lovely setting, the hotel is stunning, with a very comfortable lounge and a very impressive bar lounge with an incredible vast and extensive whisky collection! We had pizza for dinner and it was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for Holly and she made our stay very comfortable, enjoyable and positively memorable. Our bedroom was very cosy and comfortable, there was want for nothing! - All the small finer touches and additions were there. A good selection of continental and a range of cooked breakfast options were available, all prepared to a tastefully high standard. We usually stay in chain hotels, such as Hilton. This was a refreshing change and it reminded me of what an independent high quality accommodation establishment should be like! My family and l will certainly be back! I have no hesitation in recommending Dunfallandy House Hotel for your next stay in Pitlochry. 5 star and 10 out of 10!

Lovely grounds and beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful and made every effort to ensure our comfort. Dinner at the Strathearn was delicious, with a large variety of wines on offer (which the sommelier expertly guided us through). Buffet-style breakfast catered to all different palates and dietary requirements. The coctails at the century bar were also wonderful. The indoor pools were warm, there is also a whirlpool outside.

Check-in was superb, well prepared no fuss and no admin. Reception before dinner was amazing, the lounges and fireplaces set for a relaxed atmosphere where canape starters were served. The restaurant and food exceeded all expectations. The view over the valley from our room was stunning in the night mist and sunrise.

Although I now live just South of the border between Scotland and England, Perthshire is home. I was born and grew up around Loch Tay, Kenmore and Aberfeldy and worked in Perth for 20 years. Who wouldn't love Perth and Perthshire with it's beautiful lush verdant scenes and wonderful loch, mountain and river scapes. Fabulous! I miss it so much when I am not there.

Property was fabulous. Lovely rooms and staff. Breakfast was the best with lots of options. Dinner needs changing up with specials for dinner and dessert. Was same menu every day. Room was a bit stuffy. Need portable fans. We had a window that opened but did not really help. Swimming pool and spa was lovely. Staff was amazing. Shout out to Annia who found a tick on my leg during a massage. No idea wher it came from as i stayed on the path.

We picked a good time to go with all the autumn colours. Birks of Aberfeldy is local to the hotel and was a lovely walk up the gorge with plenty of falls.
