We had very pleasant conversations with Dot who made sure everything was perfect and in order for whatever we needed. Loved the location being walking distance to the centre of Newton Stewart. Loved the balcony overlooking the River. The hosts were very kind and supplied milk , bread, biscuits, butter and cheese, . It was very comfortable, very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. Great location for walking or cycling. Good selection of DVDs to watch. Close to supermarkets. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for such a fab holiday.

We stayed here 19 years ago, and decided to return. Everything was exactly the same as previous. The accommodation is extremely well kept and maintained to a high standard. It's slightly smaller than "The Pend" next door but the kitchen in The Precinct House" is stunning with a large Electric Aga which I've loved cooking on. Shower room/Toilet is very neat and tidy. And upstairs both bedrooms are beautifully decorated. We will go back a little bit sooner next time.
