We arrived very late due to flight delays, but the staff was extremely friendly and accommodated our late arrival. They provided some recommendations of things to do in the area. Breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best we've had (and we travel A LOT). Their system works well to order your breakfast the night before to minimize any waste. They have plenty of parking and are easy to find. There is a wonderful park across the street and are easy walking distance to Molineux as well as the city center. The restaurant is undoubtably one of the best in the area, make sure to get your reservations in.

This hotel is so pretty and well decorated. The hotel itself is like a mini museum. Everywhere you look, there is something interesting to see. We went during Christmas time so it was even more decorated. Room were great size and everthing was clean and comfortable. Reception lady with the blond hair was really kind and sweet. Garden around the castle is also very nice for a walk. I did not try the restaurant so i cant comment, but i did order room service: baked camembert and periperi hashbrown tots, both were phenomenal, thumbs up to the chef!

Birmingham is an industrial city.

Birmingham is an industrial city. The Museum & Art Gallery and Botanical Gardens are two highlights. Other than that, not that much on museums and that sort of stuff (that I know of). The city centre is buzzing and exciting. The Bull Ring is an incredibly large shopping centre, so if you love to shop, Birmingham is for you. We loved the O2 Academy venue for attending a concert. Recommended stay: 2-3 days.

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC.

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC. About 10 minutes walk from the centre and made a great base for us while we were attending the car show. Staff were great, room was presentable, although the carpet in room 264 was badly stained with what looked like make-up or boot polish. Slept well as the beds were comfortable. The pool and changing area was a bit small for such a large hotel, but we used this when it wasn't busy so it wasn't so bad. Breakfast was great and good value for money, booking for the restaurant is recommended as it gets busy but overall an enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

Coventry has a pleasant shopping area, and the multi-storey car park was easy to access and navigate, with reasonable prices. There were several well-known food options, and we chose the Slug and Lettuce because it offered the best vegan and vegetarian choices for the group. I also enjoyed a very good coffee from an independent café.

While our hotel was beautiful and calm, Wolverhampton seems to have nothing to offer other than shopping malls, fast food kiosks, and ugly buildings. But perhaps we did not give the city a fair chance, as everyone we met was friendly, kind and happy with the place they lived in.

Nice friendly and mannerly people.

Nice friendly and mannerly people. Had a beautiful, Latin Mass, on Sunday at St Augustines catholic church. Fantastic local bus service. We were advised to buy an all day bus ticket by the bus driver, which saved us a small fortune 5 adults. One of our party is a chef so we eat in mostly. Would love to spend more time there for our next visit. We eat in 'Toby? Carvery in Knowle, excellent food and price is right.

I only stayed one night, didn't see alot of the surrounding area due to time of arrival and my departure in the morning. It seemed to be a fairly quiet but, I think we were on the outskirts of Dudley. The pub was a short walk, staff and locals were friendly. Food was very good and reasonable. I had the carvery and a pint of lager which, was cheaper than the pizza I had the previous night. Not in Dudley.

Good hotel for the price I paid can’t complain at all in fact will recommend and will be return customer for sure. Entrance from the main road to the hotel is bit confusing but I am sure after one wrong turn it will be managed . Breakfast was good had all the options available. Hot sausage Vegan option is available which I did not know at the time of stay. It would be nice to add halal sausage as well Beds were comfortable very nice and clean room but body lotion can be a good addition to the collection.

HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE ! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Booked 3 rooms . 1 was a disable room ( It is a disaster waiting to capture another victim ) When i found out , i cancelled that room . I was left with 2 rooms. Got into the room, and it was boiling hot. No AC. I asked and was told that was the only room and that i should manage the room , till the next morning. They got a fan and i told them that i don't do well with a fan. (they pleaded , began to promise an upgrade, free food , if only i could just spend the night . Now this was almost midnight because we got in there very late . I told them that i need to check out . i Called booking.com to in form them , they called the hotel and the hotel told them they had offered me heaven and earth . ( I was cajoled to spend the night there over my safety and comfort ) The next morning , i booked another hotel and checked out . I called booking.com to inform them that i was checking out and booking.com called the hotel back and the hotel told the lady frombooking.com that they would process my FULL refund . Today makes it 2 weeks and this hotel has not refunded my 4 nights stay that i paid in FULL for . They keep passing me around staff after staff. The person responsible for the refund never gets to work till 3pm . A peep into their restaurant is appalling . I am a frequent traveler who looks forward to English breakfast , but i would have fallen ill if i tasted the food. Display of food is an eyesore . Hopefully , this hotel will refund the money that i paid . Their communication is ZERO . Neither has booking.com been of help to recover my refund . This hotel is rubbish . I eventually stayed the rest of my time in birmingham at CLAYTON HOTEL.
