We love your bar are the two gentlemen on duty that night we’re just spectacular. We had been told no dinner table until 7.45 but did not advise us we could eat in the bar…….Tony took care of everything. Alex was also very prompt with requests and polite in our dealings. Great evening meal.

We really enjoyed our stay! 😊 The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was excellent as well – it had soap, shampoo, shower gel, both a bathtub and a shower, and there was always hot and cold water. There is a bar nearby with music, but the room was completely quiet – the soundproofing is excellent. We also liked the thick curtains, which make the room completely dark when closed. The room had everything we needed: an iron with ironing board, a hairdryer, a kettle with different teas and coffee. Overall, the room looked very stylish and cozy. We were very satisfied with our stay and definitely recommend this hotel! 🌟

My mum came to lay flowers at her favourite place in her late husbands memory. It was their favourite place to visit and for many years they visited and stayed at Whitby Caravan Park. I have fond memories of visiting Whitby from my childhood. I brought Mum back a couple of years ago , we came through from Pickering Station on the Steam train ( one thing she always wanted to do). We had a lovely weekend , ecen in the cold rain and it was quite windy. Just to see my mums face light up when she arrived in Whitby , made it all worth while. Its a beautiful place.

Doncaster town is very depressing.

Doncaster town is very depressing. Big shops moved out and lots of shops closed entirely. Such a shame. We lived here for eleven years and moved with work but come back frequently to see friends. From the bank HSBC up Hallgate to the top is a very sad sight. Money needs investing to make it lovely again.

If you like English seaside resorts out-of-season, then Scarborough was perfect. With the best fish ‘n chips at Shallowfry. And the most perfect place to stay at Ashburton House. In November, the wind, the violence of the sea, the majestic architecture, the snow and walking while battling the elements, and the people. A town I would be sorely tempted to re-locate myself.
