Everything. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating from the moment we stepped through the door 2.5 hours early. We were attending a wedding so needed somewhere to get changed so they prepared our room for us so we could get settled before leaving for the wedding. The room were very clean and the bed extremely comfortable and breakfast the next morning was exceptional.

Really great property. Central location, beside the sea and close to centre. Small car park available at hotel. Less than 1 min walk to prom and less than 5 min walk to town. Tim was so accommodating, thank you Tim for looking after us. Room was great, large, comfortable and lovely bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Girls were great at breakfast service. York has something for everyone, but can be a bit crowded with visitors. My favourite thing to do is take a circular walk/amble via the Minster, Clifford Tower and Merchant Adventurer's Hall, and explore the independent coffee shops, tea rooms and shops you can find just off the beaten track.

Leeds is a city that offers many different venues for entertainment the shopping is varied and excellent from the normal large retailers to bespoke small retailers. There are opportunities to enjoy different and varied types of food in the many eateries. Overall a vibrant and developing city that offers something for everyone.

I didn't get to see very much as I was at a weekend work event, but I could gladly have spent an extra day there exploring. The town had a lovely vibe and some delightful old buildings. I don't think it would sustain me for a long stay but I'd be happy to come back and see a little more.

I love the place, such a privilege to only live an hours drive away. I've probably visited at 15 times this year alone and will probably return again before the New Year. I'd recommend everyone to visit and I'm sure you will fall in love with Whitby.

If you like English seaside resorts out-of-season, then Scarborough was perfect. With the best fish ‘n chips at Shallowfry. And the most perfect place to stay at Ashburton House. In November, the wind, the violence of the sea, the majestic architecture, the snow and walking while battling the elements, and the people. A town I would be sorely tempted to re-locate myself.

Doncaster town is very depressing.

Doncaster town is very depressing. Big shops moved out and lots of shops closed entirely. Such a shame. We lived here for eleven years and moved with work but come back frequently to see friends. From the bank HSBC up Hallgate to the top is a very sad sight. Money needs investing to make it lovely again.
