Staff was exceptional nice, warming and efficient. It is probably the best reception staff I have ever met in all the years of travel. Rooms were spacious enough and the views were very nice. Breakfast was great and the daily dinner specials were superb value for money.

The breakfasts were excellent, the view of the fjord was fantastic, we also ordered a Greenlandic buffet dinner - a great culinary experience. Overall, we were very satisfied, the staff was helpful and willing. The communication from the reception before and during our holiday was great. The free transfer from the airport to the hotel and to the harbour when we left for Disko Island was seamless.

Morten kindly picked us up at the airport and gave us a lot of good information about Nuuk on the way to the hotel. We loved our room with a view of the port. It was quiet, nicely furnished and just what we needed.

Great location, we had a view at the Sisimiut museum. The restaurant staff were very flexible and helpful, they assembled a vegan meal for us, even though there was none in the menu.

Set 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre of Ilulissat, HOTEL SØMA Ilulissat has spectacular views of the world famous Ilulissat Icefjord.

We are a family of five including 3 children, and the apartment we lived on the 4th floor was spacious enough and has such an amazing view. We had a comfortable stay and the place made a positive experience for our travels in Ilulissat. I would definitely recommend it to larger families ad anyone wishing a spacious and comfortable stay in one of the most far away locations in the world.
