Exceptionally friendly and helpful receptionist (Michaelis) who welcomed us on a rainy night with a big smile and helped to carry our luggage to the 1st floor:). The apartment is very smartly and tastefully designed with a functional kitchenette hidden in a cupboard in the living room. It is equipped with all you might need to make a simple meal like scrambled eggs for breakfast. There are even proper wine glasses which is not always the case in apart hotels. A Nespresso coffee machine with some complimentary coffee pods and even a proper (liquid) creamer were a surprise and a nice touch! Everything looks brand new - the facilities, towels & bed linen. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Perfect, quiet location, within walking distance to the center of Heraklion, bars & restaurants. Free parking opposite the building is a real bonus in that busy town! The price per night in March was excellent value for money. It's a fantastic place if you want to go on a city break to enjoy the nice restaurants and bars in town, that are open all year round. We were able to leave our car in the hotel car park for a few hours longer after we checked out, which was great and convenient. We'll definitely be back:)!

Everything! The property is amazing: beautifully designed and executed in a stunning setting. Our room with a private pool was excellent. The hosts, Olivier and Giannis, were fantastic - and having breakfast and the optional dinner done by Giannis felt like having a private chef! It is a small hotel and a family business. I traveled out of season and have to say that it was very quiet. I felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Everything is new and very clean. However, you should bear in mind that there is no breakfast on site. However, there are several supermarkets in the town itself. So you can organize yourself😊

We loved every minute of our stay. From the minute we walked in, we loved it. I believe it is the most beautiful reception I have ever seen - the ocean as a backdrop is just picture perfect. The lobby smelled amazing and we were welcomed in the most hospitable manner. The service was outstanding - it was more than the usual friendly and polite service, everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. They service we experienced was true hospitality with heart. The breakfast had the most amazing selection. The views all around the resort are incredible - starting from the lobby, to the room, to the pool, we loved that you could see the ocean from almost every angle. Pictures do not do the resort justice - it is so much more stunning in reality. Special thanks to: Elini, Polina, Lia, Aggelena, Xenia And the lovely lady from Bony Fish.

The hotel offers excellent value for money, especially for families with kids. The waterpark has a lot of slides, and there is a new aquapark project for 2025. Food is tasty and various, drinks are also OK. It is important to say that the hotel is not fancy, but it provides all that you need - and that is very good. You can also walk by the seaside road to the neighboring village, which gives you nice views. Special thanks to the manager that welcomed us at the check-in on 29 October 2024.

Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

Stalis is perfect for all ages and families.

Stalis is perfect for all ages and families. If you want partying then Malia is far enough down the road to go to and it doesn't overspill to Stalis. We ate in a different restaurant each night of our 7 night stay. It has something for everyone and great choices of food. We will return next year for sure. It has everything :)

The people are very friendly and most speak or can communicate in several European languages. The city is clean (no litter !!) and the food a and drink is excellent Culturally - this is superb - if ancient history and tall tales of greek mythology are of interest - the museums are well laid out and tourist groups "directed" One significant and pleasant item is that if you are an EU resident and 65 plus you get reduced entry fees into the national museums and attractions ( ID needed)

I came here for special purpose, to watch basketball U20 European Championship. For that reason i was traveling by bus to Duo Aorakia and University Sports Center. Don't have so much time to explore the city. When free, enjoy Amoudara beach.

Ease of access to tavernas and beach. Shops offering a much larger choice than expected. Plenty of sunbeds and beach seating. Very friendly taverna staff offering good food. Other places to visit within a short drive. Easy drive from Heraklion. Overall a very relaxed place to stay with everyth8ng needed available.

Very central location with easy access to the center of...

Very central location with easy access to the center of Heraklion (approx. 5-10 min walk). Very accessible also to the free municipal parking (10 minutes). In addition, be careful of parking right near the stay, there is no parking allowed, so there is a risk of a ticket. You also have a bus station 1 min walk from the entrance door. The neighborhood is very safe at night, no problems whatsoever.

Too far from beach to walk and hilly unsurfaced paths not suitable for all. Local grocers pharmacy and bakery 500 to 1000m walk. This is not a holiday resort area. Own transport essential. Local residents friendly and helpful.
