The location is perfect - away from the actual main street, but only a little way up one of the hills that lead up to the residential areas. I'm not particularly fit, but definitely didn't have to use one of the donkeys that transport luggage up to the steeper parts of the town, and didn't hesitate to wander up and down to the cafes and shops. The accommodation is lovely - there is art work on the walls, and the opportunity to help yourself to tea and coffee. I was surprised and delighted to be greeted with orange juice when I sat on the little terrace in the morning.

Historic and beautiful hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the decor is traditional and beautiful. We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but they prepared a room for us. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful stay at Hydra, thank you for everything.

The perfect location overlooking the harbour of Hydra. Our room was everything we could have asked for. All staff were kind and helpful, particularly Julietta, who provided much information and assisted with our bookings.

Friendly attentive staff. Had thought of little extra details that make a stay feel special. Terms were clean, modern and well equipped. Boat taxi between the bay and Hydra ran late and often. Overall couldn’t recommend this place more for a relaxing holiday!
