The hotel is such a gem. Outstanding service, great location right at the beach and it has all the facilities you’ll need. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of different options. We booked one of their spa options, which was great as well. Would recommend it 100%.

We loved everything at this place. The hotel opened just a few days ago, which is why we were some of the first guests. The facilities are brand new and super modern. It felt like a place, that we want to live at. Our room was perfect for us and had a great sea view. The breakfast that was included in our price was just perfect (home made jams for example). What stood out most are the people working there though. Everyone working there was just super kind and helpful. We enjoyed lots of fantastic chats with all the people there and can only highlight their level of service - really exceptional. We would love to come back one day and can only recommend staying at this wonderful place.

Breakfast was amazing!!! And the staff were all lovely and warm and wonderful. We liked that it was family run. Our flight was leaving quite late the next day and they were able to accommodate a later check out which made things a lot easier for us.

This is possibly our favourite hotel in Greece. The rooms are comfortable, with a fridge that keeps drinks super cold, great air con, a spacious balcony and stunning views from all sides. It’s also really peaceful. The pool area is great and well maintained with (again!) spectacular views across to Kalymnos. The staff are excellent, friendly and helpful; from arriving to be in our room, it was less than one minute. We’ll be back next year - definitely.

This hotel is such a special place! Not only is it exquisitely beautiful and clean, but the owner Kalotina and her staff are incredibly sweet and treated us like family. We chose Kalymnos for our honeymoon destination because of the rock climbing and the sea. I'm so glad we chose to stay at the Masouri Blu Boutique Hotel. We stayed for 11 nights in June/July. Our room had 2 balconies (mountain view AND sea view). Very quiet, we slept great every night. Breakfast is served on the veranda just above the beach with a stunning view of Telendos. Every table is served their own French press coffee and plenty of delicious homecooked food. Everything about this hotel is gorgeous...the decor, views, flowers & plants. I can't say enough good things about our experience. It will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you don't stay here you are missing out!

The hotel has spectacular location, you have amazing view of the sea and on the other side of the mountines, whixh are climber heaven :) we didnt know that before booking :) the vies is something to see. The “Grande Grotta” is woooow. The pool is great, the atmosphere is amazing, Kalymnos is love at first side. Its still not touristish and still you find here little shops, amazing people and restaurants. Definitely worth to visit

Genuine attention to detail and practicality. Spacious room with excellent amenities. Impressively clean. Quality mattress and pillows for true rest. More than adequate breakfast options. Great location close to restaurants, market stores, beach and the dock from which you board the boat to Telendos island. Very helpful and caring hosts!

Very nice place, hosts are very kind and they are always ready to help you. Lovely place with great view from the balcony. ( The Google map show the wrong place, but if you put Avras Kalymnos to map- then it is a correct place.) The apartapents situated near the main road where you can easily find shops, restaurants and bars.

We stayed in a lovely older villa complex just a short walk from the city centre. The atmosphere was peaceful and full of character — truly a hidden gem. Breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to the day. After exploring the island, the swimming pool was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We had a fantastic time!

Lovely chilled and laid back island.

Lovely chilled and laid back island. Great activities, we were there for a family holiday but the amazing climbing was pretty central and the diving (Kalymnos Diving Club) was great too. Beaches not busy and plenty of then (if small) all around the island. Very good value and food always of a good standard. We rented a car, the island is easy to get around and nowhere is very far

Small, friendly, has everything you need: lovely beach, wonderful views, great shops and restaurants. The people are very friendly and helpful. You can hire a boat, take a ferry to Telendos where you can go for a walk, watch a sunset and go for a great meal.

The relatively quiet and friendly location with lovely views, very Greek island with narrow roads and very friendly people. The exception being at certain times of the day motor scooters are buzzing through the narrow roads but this was not a problem for us.

Panormos is much quieter than Myrties and it has a big supermarket and a fuel station. But you need some sort of wheels to get to places as buses aren’t as frequent. We had a scooter and that worked for us well. As climbers we travelled everyday to different walls. Panormos offered the cheapest accommodation with facilities.

Kalymos main town is very big busy if you like it busy it’s ideal. There’s lots of burners and bars. It’s easy to catch fairies from the port and I recommend hiring a car to go around the island. We like the north tip of the island best.

Great place to rock climb better later in the year to avoid the crowds. I was based in Masouri and teamed up with other Canadian climbers. Restaurants all good and reasonable prices. I prefer a cooked breakfast on climbing days so very good at the Ambience. Some of the newer climbing areas are less polished than the older areas but the rock can be very sharp. As people are concentrated in Masouri the social scene is preferable compared to Leonidio, and the climbing just as good in both locations. A car is needed in Leonidio but not so much in Kalymnos. Telendos has great climbing too as well as some spectacular multi-pitch routes.

i ll write some comments for the whole island not only myrties. myrties is the main tourist spot on the island. lots of restaurants (we ate twice at la kambusa italian restaurant and the food was really good. try the pasta-excellent). there is a small harbor and within 3 minutes a boat can take you to island telendos (really cheap 3 euros going-2 coming back). we fell in love with emporeios village at the northern part of the island. quite beaches only you and ... goats from local farmers, nice restaurants (ate both at kyma & dreamcatcher). paid no more than 20euros per person. other beaches we enjoyed was platys gyalos semi organised but cheap for beverages-coffee. dont miss the daily trip to pserimos, fantastic beach plus every 3 hours or so tourist ships/pirate ships arrive with loads of tourists. for a while. then again .... peace. visit kalymnos you ll be amazed. explore greece beyond the obvious.

Panormos is a good place to stay when you visit Kalymnos island because of its location (close to the port, Kalymnos capital, museums, sightseeing and to beaches and restaurants on the other hand). The problem with all of the island is that there are nowhere sidewalks and streets are so narrow that if two cars meet one of them should back off , because there is not enough space for both of them (!!!!) and pedestrians are in a real danger .

Emporios is great if you like beautiful and quiet places.

Emporios is great if you like beautiful and quiet places. It is literally at the end of the road in Kalymnos so very little car or scooter traffic. Lots of restaurants to choose from, a mini mart, a small farm for fresh ingredients and a beautiful beach.
