A beautiful and comfortable place to stay near the port in Sifnos. My room was lovely and had a wonderful view. Mirtia was so helpful with recommendations and it was great to have the option to have laundry done while I was there for a reasonable fee.

Maria and her mom are the warmest, friendliest most helpful hosts! We were greeted with a welcome basket full of goodies, bottles of COLD water and 2 small bottles of wine. She was happy to share loads of information Free private parking (gated villa) The Villa grounds are well maintained. Up on a hill with a gorgeous view of the mountains and so Peaceful. Rooms are modern and updated with full amenities (stove, fridge, cutlery, nespresso coffee maker and pods). Free softdrinks in the garden (replenished daily) Spa like amenities - slippers, robes, great quality linens Location- 10 mins walk downhill/stairs to Chora, close to all restaurants and shops, 2 supermarkets 2 mins walking distance away. less than 10 min drive to ferry port. We liked everything about the property. The decoration is very original and brings you closer to the Greek flair. The views of our terrace were stunning since we had a view at the sea overlooking at Paros. The property was very clean and the beds comfortable. The location is between Chora and Artemon which makes it really easy to visit both places on foot so it was really central.

The hotel is about 10-12 minutes walking distance from port which we preferred as it was nice and quiet. The hotel was great. It was spacious, clean and a wonderful view of the beach and harbour. The breakfast was wonderful with a good selection. I loved the fresh orange juice and yogurt with fruit salad was incredible With honey. There was a hot selection as well including cereal, cakes, toast etc. Chrysoula the manager went above and beyond providing information. Picking us up from the port and a kind and loving person. The staff that cleaned our room and Katerina that cooked the breakfast were great.

Dreamy hotel within walking distance of Platis Gialos beach and several excellent restaurants (Omega 3, Yalos, To Steki taverna). We loved the location. We also loved the design and landscape of this beautiful property - it feels like it’s hidden away in a secret garden. The room was comfortably appointed and the bed was good. The pool was lovely and quiet. Breakfast was a highlight - made to order (not buffet) and so delicious. Hospitality excellent too - the staff were wonderful here.

Set in the beautiful Vathi cove and beach this hotel has fabulous views; especially the pool villas draped in bougainvillea. Enormous and stylish pool, great facilities overall. We found the restaurant to be outstanding with champagne (Moet no less) brunch complimentary and exquisite fine dining as well. The tavernas just a 2 minute down the beach are authentic, lovely and delicious.

Excellent location by the best beach in the island, run by family. Both Athini and Thanos were exceptional hosts. Thanks to their advise we explored great areas and restaurants in the island. The breakfast was also great. The rooms of the hotel looks at the beatiful bay which os just steps away!

Nice, comfortable, clean and large room. The breakfast had a variety of options. The room was cleaned even though we left the room a bit late one day. The staff was friendly and the owner in the reception gave us great info about the island's beaches. The location is great if you have a car.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island.

Appolonia is a good base to explore the island. You can take a bus to all the major beaches/towns from here. Appolonia itself is a sweet town with lovely, welcoming people. There are also a number of really nice shops along the main walking street and restaurants. Finally, if you plan to hike around the trails of Sifnos Appolonia is the perfect place to start from.

Sifnos is a beautiful island which is very unspoilt and yet also has an air of sophistication. It has many different spots to visit and the food is absolutely delicious. There are some gorgeous beaches on the island. We would highly recommend visiting!

Everything the beaches, restaurants, staff. Our accommodation at lodge narlis was awesome as were staff. No breakfast provided but that didn’t matter lots of restaurants near by for breakfast. Bus service fantastic for Apollonia, Kastro etc lots of day trips and sights to see.

Perfect and scenic location to explore Sifnos from. Kastro is a beautiful village and you can walk around it enjoying the breathtaking sea view. It also offers excellent restaurant and bar options for every taste!

Sifnos is a beautiful island.

Sifnos is a beautiful island. We road the buses (public transportation) for two days, very clean and rates were 2 Euros. We then rented a car for two days to see some of the more remote areas. Food is fantastic.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road.

Faros is a lovely small village with no through road. It has three beaches within a few monists walk and if you sent off and walk around the big headland, you get another within say half an hour. There is a bar, mini market, a couple fo tavernas ( one better than the other by far) and a posh-isn fish restaurant. There is a bus service but we had a car which was a boon. The island is small so you can get to see other places in very easy timescales. There is huge influx of both Greek and (largely) French tourists in July and August which the locals were both dreading and of course, needing. Best avoid those months if you can.

Excellent venue!

Excellent venue! Did not plan to cook, but with fresh fruit and vegetables available on the property, could not resist! The refurbished windmill and farmhouse were stunning and the little pool just right. Special mention to George (the host), absolutely charming host: friendly, welcoming and always available. We chanced on him at his bar "The Lost Bay" in Platis Yialos (excellent little venue) and his generosity was boundless. A top experience... highly recommended! Best way to get a real feeling of Siphnos!

Apollonia is a lovely town, and a really great base for exploring the island. The views are beautiful, there are great places to eat and drink, as well as shops selling local goods. It’s very close to a village which is full of ceramics workshops, and we loved visiting and meeting some of the potters and buying directly from them. The town is a short drive from pretty much every other place on the island. It has lovely views and is quiet and safe. It was my first time visiting and I’ll definitely return in future, Sifnos is my favourite Greek island that I’ve visited so far.

Beautiful Island , something for everyone if you enjoy a peaceful beautiful location and a fairly authentic Greek island holiday experience. If you’re a keen walker the Sifnos trails are worth the effort once you can navigate the starting points ! Fairly barren terrain but varied , hilly landscape and beautiful rewarding views and interesting landmarks with plenty of pretty blue domed churches and monasteries . Lovely swimming at the end of a walk is a bonus and great if you can get the bus back ! We loved The pretty towns ; Appolonia and Artemonas . Our stay in Appolonia coincided with The annual food festival which is a colourful major event on the island . The music gets very noisy late at night and into the early hours and can be heard for miles. Beautiful traditional buildings and streets twisting and turning up and down winding steps. All pretty and flaming white . Some nice jewellery and craft shops and some great restaurants .
