Balcony with the sunbeds was lovely and sitting outside on that balcony my friend and I could have passed many hours away. We just wished we was able to have stayed longer. Bus stop that takes you straight down to the centre and ferry port was only a few minutes walk away,so incredibly convenient. Cannot wait to return again next year with my husband

They met us both for an early check in given we had an early ferry, and let us check out later so we didn’t have to carry our bags round whilst waiting to go back to Rhodes. It was very clean and had everything we needed, a great little property :-)

We were a bit indecisive about what part of Symi town to stay in, but finally focused around the clock tower as it had a swimming area off the promenade.
Choosing the Dorian Hotel did not disappoint, what a gorgeous place! We had a spacious room with balcony & lovely views of Symi, but there were other terraces around that we also made use of. Appreciated the traditional beautiful hand painted features on the walls and furniture, the well stocked kitchen, super comfortable bed and excellent wifi. Nikos was such a nice guy, helpful taking our luggage up the stairs to the Hotel.
We adored Symi and would love to return one day and stay at the Dorian again!

Our favourite place of our month long trip
We absolutely loved this place.
+The room was clean and spacious and full of natural light.
+The balcony looked out towards the nearest church and to Pedi Beach.
+The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the lady who serves the breakfast.
+The breakfast had some delicious healthy choices which we loved (cereal, yoghurt, eggs, feta, cucumber, tomato etc).
+Well maintained property
+It's a lovely stroll down to a calm and quiet swimming spot.
+A fairly straightforward walk down to the Port area for some good exercise.
+++We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days at Asymi and wish we had booked longer.

This was an amazing experience. The rooms are at a great location, only few stairs to take from the promenade, and very close to the taxi boats and other prominent locations. The apartment was very cozy, just as in the photos. The host was the kindest we have ever seen. They communicated beforehand with instructions and advices, like where the ferry boat will arrive, how to get to the rooms and more, then continued to advise about events that would be taking place etc.

we come back to this every year with our Greek /Norwegian family . Family suites are spacious and super if you have children as they have two bedrooms . Love the smell of herbs, the flowers, colours ,fig trees , cute cats . We got a renovated room with super comfortable beds , nice renovated bathroom. Great mountain view over symi , especially by night. The people and family that owns this place that works there are warm and loving . See you next year.

We loved this place! Beautiful suite, nicely appointed and a cool oasis for afternoon siestas. Absolutely brilliant that we had access to the pool of the sister hotel. We enjoyed the facilities so much that it was almost tough to drag ourselves away for outings. Reception had some great suggestions of what to do, when we found the courage

Great location, beautiful view, small, but cosy room and not so small bathroom with shower cubicle, not with a curtain (thank God). My stay was in April, not so busy season. I left my luggage early in the morning in a tourist office and at about noon Maria was waiting for me to show me the place.

Very nice location a little further from the louder marina and bars. The property has a lot of character it is tastefully and carefully decorated. The manager Carlo and the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful. It had a nice and peaceful ambiance.

Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture.
Beautiful island with amazing Italianate architecture. Lots of wonderful, reasonably priced eateries. Everywhere felt safe in terms of very low crime. But beware that there are few beaches within walking distance of the main town. You have to rely on ferry taxis and they don't run after about October 18th. I can imagine it gets so much busier everywhere in mid-season and maybe it is not as relaxing as we found it at the end of the year.

I'd absolutely recommend symi it's a beautiful island ,stunning even. If I could give one piece of advice it would be to go for a few days not just a day boat trip from Rhodes. To fully appreciate this little island you really do need to spend at least one night this would allow you to at least be able to explore the old town above the harbour with its very steep and narrow lanes plus two or three excellent restaurants.Be aware that that the old town above the harbour is accessible via extremely steep stairways extremely steep.

Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village...
Charming island with beautiful harbor and authentic village on top of it. Beautiful beaches, scattered all around the island. Some of them reachable by bus, taxi or on foot, others are reachable by taxi boat.
Love Agios Nikolaos and fish tavern on it with fresh wild fish, love swimming from Agia Marina to small island with the little church there.
Of course, Agios Georgios is incredible place.
The island is not for mass tourism, of course the boats come during a day, but most of them are not staying overnight.
Some wildlife - spotted seal on the beach in Nimborio, and the other person saw turtles on Marathounda beach.
Excellent taverna Tholos, close to port, our long time favorite, also liked a lot Zoe and Kali strata in the village.
And for a Christian, it is a must to visit both Archangel Michael monasteries - Panormitis (newer) and Roukouniotis (older) with frescoes that date back to 15th century. Also, for an Orthodox a surprise visit to Sergii Sarovski church.
