CanadaThe location was amazing. 5 minute walk to the ferry dock & less than 10 minute walk to main town square. small but nice beach directly in front of hotel. You could use the hotel's sun beds for free & walk 1 minute to the beach whenever you wanted a dip in the sea. The rooms were modern & very clean. Our balcony had a fantastic view of the monastery & the beach. The breakfast area is a great spot to eat & enjoy the views. Good selection of food options plus you can order fresh made food off the menu. The quality of the food was great. The staff were very pleasant & helpful in proving local information.

- great kid's club with many rooms and great toys and very friendly staff

- delicious food, great choice
- staff is really amazing, especially Dušan (sports) and Yunanta (waiter)

In addition, the staff was very kind and flexible with both check-in and check-out. Breakfast was of great quality, with buffet options as well as a menu featuring hot dishes like eggs and pancakes.
Furthermore, the location is perfect — close to where the ferry arrives and departs, with very few stairs, and the staff kindly offers to come meet you and help with your luggage.
We highly recommend it to everyone! It was truly a pleasure!

BrazilI couldn’t be more satisfied with my stay at Hotel Moeesy, Blue & Green Oasis.
The location is absolutely perfect — tucked away in a quieter part of Hvar, which offers peace and relaxation, yet still within a very comfortable walking distance to the town center.
The facilities are excellent and feel brand new — I would guess the hotel is no more than three years old. Everything is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed.
What truly exceeded all my expectations, however, was the exceptional service. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable.
A special thank you to Kristina — I travel often, and I can honestly say I’ve never encountered someone so professional, kind, and dedicated in the hospitality and tourism industry. She made a real difference in my experience.

A special surprise was an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was really stunning, with the best view in town. Very elegant room design with the seamless service. Every day during the turn down service we got different amenities: chocolate, cognac, traditional cookies. Luxury Guerlain bathroom amenities were replaced every day. Beautiful a la cart breakfast: matcha latte and avocado toast were my choice, that is not so easy to find in other, even 5 stars hotels in Croatia. Great spa area. Free sunbeds on the most exclusive beach in Hvar, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

We had the most incredible time at this beautiful eco resort. Our sincere gratitude goes out to the dedicated staff and owners for curating such a remarkable haven that flawlessly harmonizes relaxation with nature. The place is spotless and tidy, a true reflection of the thought and care invested in every aspect.
We loved learning about the touching story of how Cast Away came to be. The passion and dedication that went into creating this oasis are truly heartwarming.
There is a nice a spacious kitchen, outfitted with all the culinary tools you might need, and a dishwasher. The sleeping mattress was comfy and the views are amazing. The crystalline sea and immaculate beaches exceeded all expectations. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Cast Away for providing us with a truly unforgettable retreat. We are already looking forward to our return, as the beauty and tranquility of this place have captured our hearts.

We could not have enjoyed our stay in Stari Grad more if we tried. At first I was a little spectacle as I was worried there would not be enough to do away from Hvar. I was very wrong.
Stari Grad town is extremely pretty and we loved exploring the little streets during the day. In the evening we were spoilt for choice on where to eat. I can highly recommend Blue Doors, the service was impeccable however you must have a reservation to avoid being disappointed.
The hotel was brilliant and having such a large complex meant no area ever felt too busy/overcrowded. We loved the credit system and had complete control over when and how we spent this money!
We booked five shuttles during our stay through the Places App, all hotels should have this service!

Turn Hvar into a SportHotel, bec there is no such one in Hvar island. You really have a lovely facilitations already! There are 4 tenniscourts, nyt only 2 in use. There would ne fantastic place for soccer, beachvolley, healthy food, social sports, group fitness, yoga, silent meditation walks etc.

Location is away from town but is beautiful and private. Sun beds are included in your stay and the bar service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful hotel was beautiful. Walk into town takes about 20 minutes along the coast line with a few stairs but not to bad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here overlooking the water.

Location very good, 2min to Hvar port, but still quiet in the night. The hotel is newly remodeled, very stylish and clean. Our room is fronting the sea side, view is amazing. The personnel at reception are all very kind and helpful. A lot of choices for breakfast and the dishes are fresh cooked.

Easy place to walk around (but must be prepared to climb) with interesting attractions. Friendly tourist info office and good brochures..Lovely front yard at the Franciscan Monastery and Church of Our Lady of Grace. Amazing agave lace by the Benedictine nuns.

Not for everyone.
Not for everyone. Don't go there if you like noise, night clubs, loud music and so, If you look for calm and silent place - it might be your golden target. We love that place - both from the sea side (as skipper) and land (as tourists). We will be there back again if only we can.

Beautiful quiet and friendly location.
Beautiful quiet and friendly location. Well worth the extra effort to travel a bit further. Very unspoilt with lots of passing yachts calling in for overnight stops or longer. About a dozen or so places to eat, very friendly people. Pint of lager 3.5 euros. A lovely glass of local white wine 4 euros. Four coffees about 10 euros. Beautiful food, especially if you want fresh fish straight out the sea. 👌😎

Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this...
Personally, I love the island of Hvar and no stay in this place is long enough for me. Jelsa is a great resort that offers many great restaurants, authentic shops with local products, but especially a rich cultural program. The same applies to the neighboring village of Vrboska. I recommend renting a bicycle for the entire stay and getting to know the beauty of the island in this way - be it natural beaches, old streets or vineyards.

Sucuraj is a peaceful, charming town, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds. The sea is very close, so you can reach the beach easily from almost anywhere. There are plenty of good restaurants serving local dishes. Another big advantage is its location right by the ferry, so you don’t need to drive across the entire island on narrow, winding roads.

The accommodation is located right by the beach and the locality is quiet with not many tourists. There was everything we needed in the apartment. The terrace was very spacious and overlooked the sea with the beach.
There are wooden shutters to eliminate the sun and mosquito nets in every window. The apartment is very quiet at night due to the tight windows and shutters. The kitchen is well-equipped with a spacious dining table and a large sitting room. One of the bedrooms has a door leading to the terrace with a sea view, which was amazing.
We enjoyed sitting on the large terrace on comfortable sunbeds, which I think is the best part of the apartment.
The owners provided us with beach towels and beach mats.
There is a small bakery right behind the house with fresh pastry and bread, and a grocery store 500m far from the house. There is a lovely restaurant by the beach with nice food, and another one just a 15-minute walk from the apartment, Skalinada restaurant, with amazing views and a great menu of fish and seafood.

Nice place for families woth small children.
Nice place for families woth small children. Small village, mostly tourist houses. Nice beach, everything walking distance. Very quiet, only one restaurant, one shop (a bit to small, to get everything one would need) and few bars. I suggest you try the local vine, sold next to the supermarket. At the end of August the is a fishermen festival, where you can taste fish and other sea food.
ATTENTION: The road from Jelsa to Ivan Dolac is very narrow and curvy, some sections are a bit unpleasant. It didn't bother us, but if you are not used to drive on such roads, then it might be very stressful for you (you will need to take the road it least a few times, since there is only a small shop and one reastaurant in Ivan Dolac, for the rest you need to go to Jelsa or elsewhere). Furthermore, there is a narrow and low tunnel on the road, which is impossible to drive though with a van.

It's very remote and quiet. We loved it.
It's very remote and quiet. We loved it. The hotel picked us up from Hvar Port (at a cost) and drove us back - thankfully. Food was amazing. Beginning of the season so staff were still new. They just need to offer a few activities like a boat trip or something. Otherwise quite lovely.

It is a beautiful location and it is only 10 mins from Stari Grad. Incredible to come home after a day of snorkelling and exploring.
There is a cafe/ restaurant within walking distance when one doesn’t want to cook.

Idyllic, a bit remote.
Idyllic, a bit remote. Not too many people there even in the main season, beautiful beaches! Has a bakery (open 7-10 am) and someone who sells local products next to it, next mini market is in Ivan Dolac. Also a great starting location for hiking or biking up to Sveti Nikola (there even is a nice via ferrata and a place for climbing). On gravel roads aside of the main rodes I'd recommend a SUV or a mountainbike!
