Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. The rooms were beautiful, modern, and had a good view. The bathroom was spacious and stylish. The room was always cleaned exactly when we needed it, and all of our requests were happily fulfilled. Breakfast was simple but very tasty with fresh bread, cheese, ham, vegetables, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, sweet pastries, and even waffles. The absolute highlight of our stay was the rooftop hot tub with a breathtaking view of the sea and the sunset – truly unforgettable😍 The staff were kind, attentive, and always helpful. The bar was great with very reasonable prices. Overall, it was a perfect stay and the rooftop hot tub is definitely the top feature!

This was our second time staying at this beautiful hotel, and once again, it was absolutely perfect! We loved it so much last year that we couldn’t resist coming back – and we’re so glad we did. The hotel is stunning, with a beautiful, clean pool that’s perfect for relaxing. The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset. Every corner of the hotel is spotless and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. A very special thank you to the owner, who made our stay extra special. She was so kind to me and my family – warm, thoughtful, and truly generous. She even surprised us with a massage for two, which was such a lovely and relaxing treat. This hotel has become a very special place for us, and we’ll definitely be back again. If you're looking for beauty, peace, and genuine hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay!

We loved the location, the hotel bar by the beach, the hotel restaurant and the staff. We tried other restaurants outside the hotel but ours was the best regarding the quality and also the price, Seafood platter for two is the best choice. Very calm beach, it’s ideal to relax, don’t forget to bring your favorite book with you! Pool was also wonderful, the quality of the water very nice plus the view is excellent. Thanks for everything!

We loved the tranquil location, our room (romantic room) and the access to the beach. It was nearby with sun beds provided. The staff was incredible friendly and helpful. It was our honeymoon vacation and they arranged breakfast with flowers in the room. Also sauna area is very clean and inviting.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotrl Belvder on tth islan of Pag. The biggest advantage is definitely the proximity to the beach- just a few steps away wich makes it perfect for relaxing without need for transportation.

Novalja is amazing.

Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

The location is fabulous.

The location is fabulous. The sea is clean and full with sea life. There are at least 3-4 restaurants in Mandre, two grocery shops and 2-3 bakeries. There is a cheese shop about 3 km away in Kolan, that has a lot of tasty local specialties.

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!

Povljana is growing too fast.

Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

Location is excelent.

Location is excelent. The beach is really sandy, ideal for kids, there is shallow water, so you can play with the kids 30 meters in the sea and you are still standing. The people taking care aboput this appartments are one family and they are running as really family bussines. The managert is young person and he is trying his best. Some experiences are missing but he is replacing that by the effort of his and his family. I stayed for one week and during that i did not hear - "it is not possible or NO".

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.

I was very disappointed with this location.

I was very disappointed with this location. We read on the Internet how beautiful the sea is here. -IT'S NOT ! In other places, the sea is many times more beautiful. There is a long beach, full of people. Access to the sea looks cool from the shore, BUT the reality is slippery stones. Almost no fish live in the water and I didn't even find a mussel here. We wanted to go to a more distant beach on foot, BUT the roads on the map are poorly marked! In reality, no road leads there, and after 50 minutes of walking in the sun, we had to walk back to the village.
