The staff was very friendy and profesional. The breakfast lady ( forgot to ask her name) even made oatmeal for my baby and it was really good. They also gave us breakfast bag for the early check out, which was very nice.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the centre of Novalja. The hotel is modern, clean and well equipped. The staff are amazing and couldn't believe we'd driven from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 but they looked after us all evening!

We had a wonderful experience. The intimate size of the hotel made for a cozy and personalized stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. A welcoming, clean, elegant hotel close to the port of Pag. The staff was very friendly, they answered our questions and treated us very well. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The food at breakfast was good, varied and enough for everyone. The hotel restaurant also had friendly staff and the food was very tasty. The price-quality ratio is in our opinion 5 stars. A great experience!

Everything was amazing. The staff were always friendly and made sure our needs were met. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant breakfast buffet offered new things daily and was very good. There was something for the whole family. Dinner at the restaurant in the evening was delicious and romantic with the beautiful sunset. We loved the pool and the beach. Enjoyed lunch and amazing cocktails at the beach bar. The bartenders Maurice and Danny are amazing and know what they are doing. Our kids loved them as well. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The apartment is right next to the beach, everything was great: staff, location, comfort... We enjoyed our stay very much. There are sunchairs in front of the apartment in shade surrounded by fig trees which are perfect for a morning coffee.

Novalja is amazing.

Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

The owner was very kind and accommodating.

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!

The location is wonderfully peaceful, yet offers plenty of restaurants, a shop, and everything you might need for a comfortable holiday. The highlight is without a doubt the large pebble beach with its crystal-clear sea – truly exceptional. Šimuni also has a charming harbor with several restaurants, and it even offers the possibility to swim there if the waves at the main beach are too strong. Having explored the entire island, I can say that this is one of the most beautiful spots for anyone seeking peace and relaxation.

Povljana is growing too fast.

Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.

The location is fabulous.

The location is fabulous. The sea is clean and full with sea life. There are at least 3-4 restaurants in Mandre, two grocery shops and 2-3 bakeries. There is a cheese shop about 3 km away in Kolan, that has a lot of tasty local specialties.

Beautiful view, very friendly owners who took us on a boat trip, cosy and clean villa is equipped with all the stuff you need e.g. washing machine, dishwasher, table tennis, nicely decorated. Highly recommended.

Location is excelent.

Location is excelent. The beach is really sandy, ideal for kids, there is shallow water, so you can play with the kids 30 meters in the sea and you are still standing. The people taking care aboput this appartments are one family and they are running as really family bussines. The managert is young person and he is trying his best. Some experiences are missing but he is replacing that by the effort of his and his family. I stayed for one week and during that i did not hear - "it is not possible or NO".

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.
