ItalyWe loved our stay here. The staff were nice and smiling, and they also helped us when our car brokedown, arranging a taxi and giving us the best advices. Breakfast assortment is various and rich, for all tastes: from local savoury delicacies, spreads, cheeses and cold cuts; with cooked goodies changing everyday (if you ask the staff, you recieve a hot dish like for example palacinke) and the sweet part with a lot of local jams and dried fruits. A little bit less choice here regarding pastries and cakes (just 1 type x day)
Private beach is really nice especially since it's included in the price. You can ask for sea towels at the reception
Rooms were sparkling clean and spacious. We got a west-exposed room so the sunset view was lovely.
Quality price ratio is a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it when you want to spoil yourself for a day. I wouldn't stay more than 2-3 days tho. The final rating for the hotel is a 9, making up to 10 for how nice they helped us with our car issue.

One night for dinner it was soo full (our last night) we got sent back to the lobby to wait (they said about 30mins) BUT they came back to get us within 5mins that they had a table ready for us.

I would say that overall impression is very good, appartement is spacious, clean, have enough dishes and cutlery, good swimming pool and sandy beach near by. Good and convenient parking space for standard car. I would underline that Internet is very weak which is quite strange nowdays (and it is not WIFI connection it is really internet, you can't watch video at all). There is a place for a washing machine in the bathroom, but there is no washing machine, which could be a nice thing to have especially when the residence is far from all the infrastructure. I would suggest to add drying racks, we took ours because we saw other tourists reports, the same is for the fan that we took from home to use upstairs. In general, we didn't use AC that much, but it depends how you are resistant to the hot during night time. We missed vacuum cleaner as well, because of the sand. Mop or brush don't help that efficient.

The bungalow is very well equipped, clean and also with a good distribution. The Swimmingpool was cool and big. The park next to Jangalooz was cool too. I would like to have a few more restaurants to reach by walk in the area. There are 2 supermarket close, one is quite new and need a bit better advertisement for people inside the Camping visit it. It is not yet showed in google but the place is good enough.

Post season Umag seems like a cozy small town.
Post season Umag seems like a cozy small town. I expected more but then maybe my expectations were set too high considering its a popular destination for locals. Although I only stayed there for one night, I can't provide a comprehensive report but we did manage to walk around the city and resort complex. The location seems ideal for an activities holiday destination with a lot of parks and paths for walking/hiking, bike riding, etc.

Savudrija is a very small village with a couple of restaurants, and a couple of campings. If you are looking for a place to relax and from where to start daily adventures in other destinations, that's the place to be. Plus, it has several cycling paths.

It is a small calm village, but if you enjoy a larger city, Umag is just 5 km away. There you can find many different restaurants and supermarkets. It also has a very nice beach-walk with shops and restaurants, we even stayed for a free guitar concert that was happening at the time.

Calm place right by the sea with apartments and hotels. Very clean sea, nearby access suitable for swimmers, places better for small kids (shallow and send) easily reachable by car (max 3 km). Small supermarket at the locality, restaurants (but we did not visit them).

The town of Umag has a charming coastal feel particularly at the historic centre. There are plenty of food options, lovely sunsets and a motorised 'train' to transport people from their resorts and hotels to the town for only 4€. Prices overall are very reasonable compared to other European destinations.

I was there in the off-season, it's certainly very different when it's full of tourists and cars and kids and campers in summer. There's no supermarket but a small bakery selling fresh bread and produce. There's a local olive oil producer in town which was a delight to visit. Lots of excellent paths for walking along the coast. Views like a dream!

The see was dirty so we had to find some other activity.
The see was dirty so we had to find some other activity. And we found a lot. We were walking in the natural park and met a turtle. We were in Marble cave and it was great. We were vititing Groznjan and Buje, both beautitiful cities. And some waterfalls, absolutely amazing. At last it was one of my best holiday. So there are a lot of other activities possible to do in case os dirty see :)

Savudrija is nothing special, there is a good beach at the autocamping and nothing else. We only booked here our accomodation because we wanted to visit the Slovenian beaches and cities and the border is close here and here was cheap place to stay.

There is a choice of beaches in the vicinity (0.3-4 km). One can find something to the taste. It is easy to travel by bike as well. Supermarkets are reacheable by car. We did not eat out, so cannot judget he local restaurants.
