I would say that overall impression is very good, appartement is spacious, clean, have enough dishes and cutlery, good swimming pool and sandy beach near by. Good and convenient parking space for standard car. I would underline that Internet is very weak which is quite strange nowdays (and it is not WIFI connection it is really internet, you can't watch video at all). There is a place for a washing machine in the bathroom, but there is no washing machine, which could be a nice thing to have especially when the residence is far from all the infrastructure. I would suggest to add drying racks, we took ours because we saw other tourists reports, the same is for the fan that we took from home to use upstairs. In general, we didn't use AC that much, but it depends how you are resistant to the hot during night time. We missed vacuum cleaner as well, because of the sand. Mop or brush don't help that efficient.

Having a couch and comfy chair to sit on gave us room to sit and read at night without being in bed.
The room and the bathroom were very large and as described.
Bed was comfy and we had an amazing sleep due to the individually controlled A/C which provided a perfect sleeping temperature.
Breakfast was yummy with lots of variety both hot and cold and Magdalena made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again. It's a perfect place to use as a base to discover the surrounding towns.

From the moment we walked in we wished we had booked for a longer stay. A gorgeous little family run hotel in the lovely little town of Lovrecic, San Lorenzo with such helpful, friendly staff.
Our room was large, spotlessly clean and modern, with a balcony overlooking the stunning pool.
The breakfast was varied and it was nice to sit outside to enjoy it.
Free parking was a bonus. Nearby are a few restaurants and cafes - all with wonderful service. The beach is a few minutes walk away.
Would highly recommend this amazing hotel.

Highly recommended! Fallen in love straight away . We were glad to stay there. Absolutely fantastic. Owners are very friendly and helpful . That house is a pet friendly property as a bonus for us! We really enjoyed our stay there and wish to stay little longer. Accommodation is in perfect location if you want discover surrounding area.. Nowhere is too far from this apartment-beaches,hills etc !

The whole complex is absolutely amazing. It is huge, has everything you would need on a vacation (pools, playgrounds, shops, restaurants, caffeteria, loundry, green areas, sport equipment etc.), plus the localization alows for easy day trips around Istria to enjoy this wonderfull area :)

Post season Umag seems like a cozy small town.
Post season Umag seems like a cozy small town. I expected more but then maybe my expectations were set too high considering its a popular destination for locals. Although I only stayed there for one night, I can't provide a comprehensive report but we did manage to walk around the city and resort complex. The location seems ideal for an activities holiday destination with a lot of parks and paths for walking/hiking, bike riding, etc.

Savudrija is a very small village with a couple of restaurants, and a couple of campings. If you are looking for a place to relax and from where to start daily adventures in other destinations, that's the place to be. Plus, it has several cycling paths.

It is a small calm village, but if you enjoy a larger city, Umag is just 5 km away. There you can find many different restaurants and supermarkets. It also has a very nice beach-walk with shops and restaurants, we even stayed for a free guitar concert that was happening at the time.

Lovrecica have a small but bery enjoyable beach. No sandy parts just pebbles and rocks, but the sea floor is walkable easily (shoes recommended). It is safe for children. Shower and toilet also present in the beach with bakery, fast food and bar. The beach could be a bit crowded during the weekend as it seems local leople choose this place for a day swiming and relaxing. Town is small, no grocery shops just a few restaurants, bakery and bar.
But a camp is nearby with free pass is you are not using the beach and have several grocery and other shops. Also Umag is very close by car and have supermarkets.

The location is simply amazing, since everything is close. Do you want to explore Istria? Slovenian Coast? Carst? Visit Ljubljana or Trieste? Jump in a car and you are there soon.
As for Basania/Savudria itself - the beach is simply amazing, with the pine trees providing shade during all day. The restaurants are also nice. It's a shame that Istria is so often underrated and overlooked, but in my opinion, it is much better place to visit that e.g. Dalmatia.

Calm place right by the sea with apartments and hotels. Very clean sea, nearby access suitable for swimmers, places better for small kids (shallow and send) easily reachable by car (max 3 km). Small supermarket at the locality, restaurants (but we did not visit them).

The town of Umag has a charming coastal feel particularly at the historic centre. There are plenty of food options, lovely sunsets and a motorised 'train' to transport people from their resorts and hotels to the town for only 4€. Prices overall are very reasonable compared to other European destinations.

I was there in the off-season, it's certainly very different when it's full of tourists and cars and kids and campers in summer. There's no supermarket but a small bakery selling fresh bread and produce. There's a local olive oil producer in town which was a delight to visit. Lots of excellent paths for walking along the coast. Views like a dream!

We liked Lovrecica but also the small villages and small tows along the coast. The interior of Istria is also worth a visit, with its historical sites, small typical restaurants offering good local cuisine. A lot of places to visit.
