Interesting buildings and architecture. Mostly very old and heritage. I stayed in a really switched on part, in the entertainment district. There were people out every night enjoying the weather , restaurants and bars. Really nice vibe. People were friendly and helpful. LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. Fantastic host !!!! Very friendly and helpful the will be there any time when you need, sorted all your problems!!! We have everything what we needed. Step to step instructions where we can go what please to see, we don't have to worry about anything everything will be sorted 😊 haus looks more beautiful not on the pictures!! Very comfortable bed bedding smells so freshly washed,loved that smell 🥰 Sparkly clean haus!! Haus have everything what you needed , and everything what you needed for barbecue. I'm haigh recommended that place !!!!! Beautiful buildings all within walking distance. Lovely vibe along by the river with markets at night and public dancing in the square. Very safe city. The thermal baths are amazing and a must do. Public transport is very good and really easy to get around. Free for over 65s.The churches are all magnificent, one nicer than the next. Great choice of food in the restaurants. Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way. For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk.
