The property was just a stone throw from the Danube river. You could lay out from the balcony and listen the flow of the river moving slow. They organized also a very good and well thought dinner at a very traditional restaurant, close to them, not only with very good food, but with the whole show included. It was like we lived those 2 hours in the renaissance era. We really enjoyed the experience.

The room is not very big, but it is comfortable. It has a big soft bag, new furniture, and modern plumbing. The soundproofing of the room is excellent, with a big heavy door. The hotel is modern and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. We really liked the breakfast and dinner; they were tasty with a wide variety of options. I had a great experience! The room was large, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful, modern touch. The bathroom was especially impressive—spacious and stylish. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in December out of season, it was snowing outside and we made extensive use of the hotel facilities. Everything was perfect. Large and comfortable room, perfectly clean. large and clean wellness area with different areas . Massages are highly recommended. There is a good and plentiful buffet for breakfast and dinner.

Esztergom is a beautiful historical town.

Esztergom is a beautiful historical town. People are friendly here, as in most of Hungary. Excellent shopping and dining options. Sometimes there is a problem with parking down in the city. Very good parking options around the basilica.

LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. THE TOWN SHOULD HAVE A OPEN AIR SHUTTLE BUS FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE. NOT EVERYONE CAN WALK FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER. NICE PLACE , GOOD WIBE.

I absolutely loved this property!

I absolutely loved this property! The owner was incredibly helpful and always available whenever we needed assistance. It was immaculate and cozy, the location was ideal, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing. Every facility exceeded my expectations.

There wasn't too much to see or live in Zebegény. We couldn't find a restaurant that wasn't pub-like at all. The free beach is just an empty area with minimal services (a single buffet car).

Nothing there, more and more shops close with each visit, Very few choices for DINING or even drinking a beer. Very little English spoken there, for a town on the border its very depressing. They dont even have cross border public transporation! Accomodation options are EXPENSIVE and VERY LIMITED! Unless travelling there for work ... Dont Go

Esztergom is not a big city and it gives opportunities for travelers to walk to most of the sights. The importance of the city on the Danube was high and it is rich in history. The seat of the head of the Hungarian Catholic church is in Esztergom and the cathedral is stunningly beautiful with a cafe in the dome part, which provides uncomparable view of the city and the surroundings. I would visit again if I have opportunity!

Visegrad is a very quiet and rural area and is well suited to those seeking a restful and quiet holiday. The visitor map is quite out of date as the brewery and winery shown are no longer there or open. walking/hiking seems to be the most reason for people to visit the area for its beautiful scenery and hill walks.

Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy...

Sturovo is directly across the Danube from touristy Esztergom in Hungary and it is very plain in comparison. Being in Slovakia it is a cheaper place to stay or to shop. The centre of the town is very quiet in the evenings with just some dimly lit bars and few places serving food. This part of Slovakia is very run down with many buildings abandoned and in advanced decay. The lanes around the town are despoiled by rampant fly tipping on an industeial scale.

Adequate facilities, a few nice shops/bars, glorious hilly countryside, lots of tracks for walking, and cycling. Peace, beauty, and tranquility, like going back in time, and only an hour from Budapest on the train

With the basilica looming above it, there's a real sense of history about this town. Very filmic atmosphere. Lovely river frontage and great cycleways and walkways. The town square has its own wishing well fountain a la Trevi. it's close by train to Budpest and definitely worth a weekend or more stay
