So glad we found this place for the end of our time in Bali! Super chill, and the staff are just so friendly. They helped us with transportation and lots of nice recommendations. Staff are super nice and everything is clean and new. Using the WhatsApp group to get our coconuts by the pool and booking the free shuttle was super useful. All services were just a message away which was very convenient! I've read some reviews while booking about location and yes, it’s not in the middle of Binging but I think that’s a plus and not a minus. Uluwatu is full of constructions at the moment in the area so for us staying in a quite place where I am in the middle to the "can't miss places" and having the Chauffer for FREE was amazing. Not a place for partying and expecting to walk to restaurants though (which is quite dangerous if you haven’t come to Bali yest there’s not or litle patch ways and motorbikes go up to scape the traffic)

Gorgeous, peaceful resort in the heart of the jungle with a breathtaking view on the ocean! The rooms with the view on the magnificent infinity pool and the ocean are simply extraordinary, very stylish and comfy and equipped with everything one may need. The on-site restaurant offers a great selection of meals, and really amazing breakfast options. The stuff is incredibly friendly and supportive, and the room service coordinated instantly via WhatsApp brings customer centricity to the whole new level. Highly recommended!

FAQs about hotels in Bali

An Island Dream

The dream destination of Bali is where volcanic landscape meets lush rice terraces and pristine beaches. Not to mention the fantastic surfing, cheap shopping and pervading spirituality that have made this Indonesian island a long-time favourite for backpackers.

The island’s capital is Denpasar in the south, but its surf and party capital is nearby Kuta. Swaying palm trees line the beach here and many more cover the grounds of the Bali hotels on the beach in more exclusive Seminyak to the north.

On the island’s north coast, Pemuteran beach offers lovely views of the sloping mountains heading towards the Bali Sea. Many beaches on this coast are black sand, including sweeping Lovina beach from where dolphins can often be seen. Tulamben in the east is one of the better diving resorts in Bali, while Sanur is a popular option for families.

Ubud is the island’s cultural capital and houses a monkey sanctuary in its jungle-like landscape. An ancient Hindu temple is found here, but the best-known temple is Tanah Lot, surrounded by water. There are also hundreds of fantastic spas in Bali, as well as meditation and yoga classes that you can join.

Whether you choose to stay inland or by the beautiful coastline, Booking.com has a great range of villas, guest houses and hotels in Bali.

Kuta is a Gemini-city; there’s a yin and yang quality about it that I can totally appreciate. During the day is hot, sunny, the shops, stalls and mall are lively and brimming with singles and families. The beach is fun, the traffic is heavy, the restaurants are all tempting. Then, when night falls, after a soothing and even romantic interlude of a sunset by the beach, the city gets seductive with night clubs, bars and special services offered (close your eyes, kids, this next section’s for the grown and autonomous). There is a hedonistic air about Kuta at night that, while just as safe and playful, is quite candid and respectful. It says “I’ll take on a wild right, but only with your consent and comfort.” It’s alluring without being abrasive; debauchery without being sinister. I like Kuta. I see why people gravitate there. Go. Have an experience and enjoy what it has to offer, and do it mindfully so you can shameless tell the story.

this is an up and coming area in Bali. it looks like it will be upmarket from the shops, bars and restaurants that are already there. Its very busy and the traffic is hectic ( as is everywhere in Bali). Its a younger persons place as plenty of parties and activities. Would recommend to anyone under 40 that wants a hip vibe and action. if your older stick to Sanur

Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

Nusa Penida is a wild island, there are stunning views and beaches. It is not easy to wonder around. Roads are bad and it is not the best if you are not an expert with the scouter, in that case you will need to use the local drivers. I suggest Crystal Bay, and Klingking Beach (for sure). If you got to do the snorkeling with the Manta Rays go early, later it is really crowded. Consider that it takes long time to go in the main point of interests.

Bali in general, is overrated!

Bali in general, is overrated! Marketing, movies and other things give us a different impression about Bali. In some isolated spots, you can find clean beaches and water, etc In general, it is full of resorts and hotels; the place is overcrowded with no planning, reflecting on the traffic/roads, which is horrible, and the beaches are polluted. It's my 3rd time there, but I know what I'm signing up for. My first time I was imagining Bali as the advertisement (tropical paradise). Is not! For me, is all about the resort where I'm staying. And price.

I loved so many things!

I loved so many things! The meals were much better than expected and compared very favorably with expensive resort restaurants we also visited. The view of the bay and the huge waves in the distance was fantastic. I sat watching them from the pool deck and the dining area for hours each day. The property is beautifully landscaped and kept immaculately clean. The property manager and his wife are super helpful - really above and beyond anything expected. The bed in the cottage was firm and very comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Only drawback might be that the property is a bit remote - about a 10 minute taxi ride from the city and harbor. For me this was fine. I like quiet and restful and this fulfilled my expectations perfectly. it was easy to get a taxi to the snorkeling and dining establishments, but the property was away from the crowds. It's a romantic location. But if your passion is parties and exciting city life, this might be a bit remote.
