Excellent small hotel in a beautifull setting among ricefields. Very beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms with a view and very kind staff. Possible to walk from and to Munduk but the hotel also provides any kind of transportation to any place in the island. Certainly the best place to stay around Munduk for that price.

this is the best hotel we have stayed in so far in bali. the staff was so kind and amazing. the rooms were so clean, with updated style and bathrooms. the food at the restaurant was really good, especially the mie goreng! the area is beautiful and peaceful. and we loved the nice umbrellas at each villa for use - very handy for rainy season!! also, we came for the christmas holiday and the staff left the cutest notes for our kids when they cleaned. ♥️♥️

One of the best homestays that I have been to. An amazing view of the fields and the sea, so peaceful with only the sounds of the birds and the water of the river nearby. The hosts were so nice and kind, they helped me organise a trip to the waterfalls and then to the hot spring and a Buddhist temple nearby. I totally recommend this place !!

Beautiful swimming pool and super nice and clean rooms! The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing. We spent a lot of our time playing games at the swimming pool and did a dolphin watching tour as well which was lovely. Our driver Kadek Juli was absolutely amazing in bringing us to the next destination as well!

Staying at MMP was the highlight of our trip to Bali. It was a welcomed haven of tranquillity after the other busy areas we visited. The staff were wonderful, the facilities were awesome. There was a range of activities and tours on offer. We particularly enjoyed the sustainability tour with Giri. He is highly passionate about sustainability and education, and clearly loves his job. We also had a wonderful tour with Duta in the vegetable garden. Also would like to thank Apri who took us on the rainforest trek and canoe, and Bastian who gave us the plantation tour on the first day we arrived. The staff working here really made a great impression and, on our last day several different members of staff asked us for feedback and if there were any improvements we could think of - which we honestly couldn't! We hope to come back one day and stay again, we have been recommending MMP to all of our friends. Thank you!

Amazing staff; a green clean sprawling estate to be your 'self'; tasty food in the restaurant; facilities including pool table, gym and massage - Katut (the 4th) Arya also does the landscaping and gardening; parking if you're driving in (not advisable from DPS). I enjoyed morning walks on the sprawling grass lawns, soaking up the morning dew; dips in the pool(s) and letting the Sun dry me. There are shower-spouts placed near the pools and accommodations if you do not fancy the closed shower in the ensuite. The weather God was kind during my stay in the ensuite Bungalow (cheapest); the standard room (bigger with TV, AC and in room kettle) and delux (even bigger) may be value for moeny for a couple/group. Didn't miss anything as the reception had all day tea/coffee facility near the pool.

There is a beach nearby, 2 minutes, is nice for the ones who wants to do snorkeling. There are some nice fish, starfish. The pool is nice, and you can order food directly from the pool and drink nice juices from inside of it. The restaurant has some good food with good prices. There are not very many options but they are good. Is nice that you can do inside of the complex some very good massages. The garden is also beautiful and you can relax in this complex.

I first visited Lovina in 1979.

I first visited Lovina in 1979. Since then I have been back 4 or 5 times. Lovina still retains a lot of the old Bali. If you are looking for a quite peaceful town with great people this is it. I always enjoy the serenity of Lovina and the closeness of nature. Well worth a visit.

Temperature (around 18-19 degrees celcius in the evening) and beautiful countryside and vegetation - many waterfall walks available (although quite tourist heavy). Beautiful area and totally different to the various beach spots of Bali.

The area he’s like Bali 40 years ago. You are better off staying at a resort on the northern end of the beach, they are beautiful clean and with excellent food and staff, and away from the mosque. Eco Taste, Dimpil Beach Bar, Wrung Rama, The Sage excellent places to eat with cheap healthy fresh food. The Taman, Sari resort & Amertha Resort also have excellent food but more expensive.

Located outside of Singaraja by about 10kms is "OMunity Bali". It is situated in the traditional highland village of Sudaji.. To get to this location you need to make your own transport arrangements to go there and especially leaving is harder as the local Grab App doesn't seem to reach to here. OMunity prepared food is delicious and creative but eating out elsewhere didn't have much choice esp if vegetarian. The ambience is relaxing, friendly and uncrowded. Walking around the neighborhood is pleasant, and there are short road trips with walks or treks to some of the most stunning scenic places in Bali.

Nice relaxed rural/coastal Bali, great place to just wind it back and take time to slow down. Snorkeling, temple tours both great, hot springs are truely hot and well worth the visit (anytime of day or night), but I’ll mostly remember the friendly approachable people in the neighbourhood. Lovely people (great food)

Tejakula is a great place away from the busy tourist areas of the south beaches. There are great Warungs, bars and markets for shopping. We saw waterfalls, temples, hot springs and a family run salt farm. Quiet walks along the black sand beach and making friends with the locals are some of the reasons why we will come back to Tejakula.

It is great to stay in the north of Bali! Getting around takes time and requires a private driver. Management & Staff was just Wonderful and made all our wishes come true. Very responsive via What's app - all day long. Great location on the mountain, fantastic view. Private infinity pool! The place to feel into the magic of Bali!

We stayed near Agung beach to far away from Lovina beach where there are more options for dining and entertainment. The highlight of our Lovina stay was our trip to Menjangan Island, however it was an hour and a half drive from Lovina. Menjangan is mentioned in all the tour options as a 20 minute boat ride, it is, but only after the long drive.

The area around Munduk is very hilly so it is good to be...

The area around Munduk is very hilly so it is good to be prepared for this if doing a lot of walking. If you don’t have your own wheels, you are mostly reliant on local transport/drivers,to get to a number of attractions in the area. We enjoyed a visit to the Lakes and the Botanical Gardens which were very peaceful. Walking the 5 local waterfalls from Golden Valley was a highlight, which took us most of the day. Next time I would go on the canoes on Tamblingan Lake. It looked like fun.

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts...

It was quiet and peaceful, away from the busy southern parts of Bali. The downside is it takes 4 hours due to traffic leaving the south and slow moving traffic heading up into the mountains due to winding, narrow roads.
