This was a hidden gem in Sanur! The facilities are beautiful! My favourite was the pool area with bathing decks both in the pool and surrounding it. The staff were exceptional.. soo friendly, accommodating and kind to each other and guests. I learnt so much about Balinese culture from them! Breakfast was delicious with different cuisines from parts of the world served on a daily basis. The spa was amazing, I absolutely loved my stay here and will definitely be back!

To be fair, everything was great at this accommodation. The room was spacious, clean and well designed. The balcony was also very nice and the view over the pool was lovely. The swimming pool area is very nicely done and it's a great place to hang out and relax. The hotel is overall very well designed, very classy and beautiful. The location is great as well, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within 2-3 mins walking distance. Thanks to its design, even though it's in a very good and bustling location, the rooms are quiet and no outside sounds reach them.

I loved the spaciousness of my room with separate large bathroom, lounge and study area. I loved the staff who were so friendly and kind 🌹And I really loved the buffet breakfast which was FABULOUS!!! So many options and wonderful food ❣️ I loved the art and beauty of the interior of the motel and the amenities and was deeply impressed with their efforts to reduce plastic waste from water bottles. And I loved meeting real Indonesians from all over Indonesia and learning a little about their lives and culture.

The hotel staff are amazing, very friendly every time the see you they greet you genuinely, the breakfast is amazing. We went to this hotel to be able to enjoy the beach the huge pool, for our wedding anniversary. We felt very welcome in this hotel, when we have the opportunity we will come back.

We loved the shops including the women with the market...

We loved the shops including the women with the market stores, the beach was idilic and very clean. The lagoon and reef picture perfect with beautiful blue boats and family life. Easy walking even with the sidewalks being made. Great variety of food and bars. Loved Icon Bali, just fabulous something for everyone's budget. Least favorite was the bikes on the esplanade, I dont mind moving when they ring the bell but some tourists not friendly. Love Sanur, very pleasurable and can't wait to return Next time I'm hiring a motorbike! I recommend Anna's warung and the satay house next to her for delicious food and unique experience

The city can be busy, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find colorful shops, friendly locals, and a lot of interesting cultural spots like temples and museums. The food is amazing—whether you try street food or dine in restaurants, everything feels full of flavor and tradition.

I went to a restaurant: WARUNG KLUMPU DENPASAR very close to the hotel. They had excellent atmosphere good food and if I stayed longer I would have come back. So please try and experience it yourself!

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

I loved the natural weave of traffic, the kindness and respect of the Balinese people, and how hardworking they are. So much to offer, for all budgets. I have yet to discover more of Denpaser on my next visit.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.

Sanur is a great place to take it easy and enjoy the balinese lifestyle. Love the evenings on the beach where you can enjoy the views without the sun in your face and if you get up early enough you get to see the sunrise.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. If you are after a unique Balinese experience without wall to wall tourists, do a little research and you may find that Denpasar has a lot to offer.
